Your party savings were ace, well done! Though it really highlights how much 'little things' add up!

    Have a good day :)

    Hi All

In my desperation this morning I suddenly remembered I had a piece of kit that I dont need anymore from the old business so I called the company I bought it from and they are going to give me £50 for it and take it away tommorow!! It will tide us over till I get more money on Saturday. I should point out I would be fine if the money I'm owed had been paid. So not me being irresponsible with my budgets. Can't control other people.

The repair was carried out this morning for £125 which is still loads but better than paying for a new one. Anything from £250 to 500.

    Have a good afternoon all.

    Bob

Holy cow I have whiplash today from the speed my life comes at me. It's frustrating that I can't write exactly what I want to, just in case....but in a nutshell I had a very late cancellation today for a big booking. Yes it's pants. Yes it has put me out of pocket by £400. It also impacted another party who will be using the space at the same time, and I was mortified that the person was so put out.
In less than an hour! I'd managed to fill the breach with an even more exciting provider who is going to use the opportunity to try something new. They are mega excited. I have yet another hook to PR the bejasus out of, and most importantly the other party is now not being let down.

And how was your day ;)

    Great news Bobs!

Aw, they are lovely when they start chattering, but we found out that they cannot say Skunk. We were watching some nature programme and one came sauntering across the screen, 'Cat?' said #1 ' no, its a Skunk' we said. Small kids can't manage 'sk' so it came out kun* loudly, every time he saw a black and white animal, be it cat, dog, horse or panda. It only lasts for about three weeks before the sk is established and the t at the end changes to k, no matter how much you say Skunk at them. DH went out and bought a skunk soft toy and has laughed his head off with each of the other three at that stage.
Pepe le Pew has never been more insulted.
