    Hi All

Hope everyone is well? It's been a mixed bag of a day. I won't dwell but there have been issues at my son's school. I will just have to keep an eye. Back on topic,

    Wealth

    * Took a new booking today, just need to collect the deposit.

    * Met a client this morning for a chat and to agree some action points to boost uptake on their event.

    * Did a shop. Spent £41 which got us a large pack of nappies, double size. Saddo that I am I have started to make a note of when I open these bigger packs of things to see how long they are lasting.
A 4 pack of wipes, a box of 40 bags of crisps for £4, that is just such a good deal! Extra pizzas for the freezer, washing powder. Basically loads of stuff. Certainly won't need any more shopping till the weekend. I do think Operation bulk buy is working for us.

    * Up to £12.50 in Mr S points now.

    * Had a chat with OH today about looking for another job again. I just feel things are so uncertain with what I'm doing that I need to find something so we know we are OK even if/when the business dips. The main issue with finding something is it has to fit around what I'm already doing. I have to be free during the day to do viewings and meetings, and have to be around weekends because that's when the body of my work happens. So I could probably manage a few hours week night evenings.Depending on OHs schedule.

    Health

    * Walked to the business then back, plus walked most of the school run so a good days exercise.

    Organisation

    * Managed 30 minutes shredding before we went out this morning and cleared both filing trays.

    * Checked all the banking

    * Used OHs travel card for my afternoon trip. If he does the morning run to get DS to school and then doesn't need it again that day we have our travel costs by sharing.

    Bob

Surely you can't squeeze in another job. You are so busy and you achieve so much. I have absolute faith that the dips will become few and further-between. You keep the faith too x

That sounds potentially exhausting! But I know lots of SE do something similar. Hopefully you can find a happy medium and eventually you won't feel the need to do too much! I certainly hope so.

Oh Bob! Ok, let's think about this.

    1. If you took another job for a few hours, it might help you out and give you a buffer until Major Equipment Item sells.

    2. You are due to be debt free this month. All those payments you don't have to make any more will add to your buffer and let you have a few more treats/bigger EF.

    3. It is just a short term thing isn't it? If it doesn't fit in with your life, or you turn into a knackered zombie, you stop. You are in control of this one. It is not admitting defeat, it is for BBB and a business EF.

It's so nice to have someone say that. I do feel the business has legs, but next month is looking PDS at the moment. I do not want to get dragged back to the bad old days of putting lots of business bills on MY credit card. It makes me feel sick just thinking of it. So...Needs must. Just being practical.

I think that's the thing. SE is always a choice. It's a luxury really. How many can make that choice easily? So the other side is hard graft. As you say I am far from alone in juggling several roles/jobs. Appreciate your kind words too.

That is something I hadn't thought of Foxy, there would be a bit of a kick back from not having the card....

Big Equipment is a bit of a pain tbh. My friend thinks the market is a bit saturated at the moment. Big sigh. So we might have to hold back a bit on that one.
    Thanks for the pep talk!

Snort. Trust you to cut to the important bit:rotfl:

Like all responsible parents I have a tiny horses harness and carriage and get DD to pull it all home ;) She's a bit slow on her tiny legs but a lump of sugar works wonders.:rotfl:
