Good morning everyone, I had a bit of an epiphany last night and realised that it was my 'top up' shops that were blowing my budget. As I only shop online, the minimum spend is £40 which is a lot of money. I was spending that on extras when all I need usually is bread and milk. My teenagers are home for the summer and they are more than capable of going to the local Tescos and getting me the bits we need so that is what is going to happen. I cancelled the shop and will send the teens off when needed.0

August starts for me today. I have spent £42.36 on an online GF shop to take to France for the kids. I will be doing another small picnic shop later to make a picnic for the boat tomorrow. Other than that I will not be spending on groceries until 12th August. Will be back then and back on it. Hoping to come in way under again.October 2016 Grocery Challenge £76.11/250/

£45.36 supermarket delivery this morning. Just a couple of things they didn't have which OH has added to his list to get for me whilst out and about.
Interestingly OH said his spend was down last month too. He doesn't know I'm doing the challenge on here but does know I'm cutting back.
What I do hope is that now I'm cutting back the spending, I'll cut down the eating a little as well to help the spare tyre around the middle to shrink a little faster than it has been!Decluttering Awards: 🥇0 -
