yes its a dog , not the same as you expected with 4 legs , but still a dog

your acer link refered to the WRONG monitor , verified by your posting saying "Hi there,

I can confirm that the model number for the monitor included in this bundle is UM.WW3EE.005. "

Another one? How is it possible? Is there something in the tap water?

I have also found answers in the Q&A to be wrong and since it is not Argos themselves advertising it as such, I posted the older monitor. That way, the newer monitor being delivered would be a bonus.

Either way, it makes no difference to the OP.

Perhaps you can offer the OP a review of the monitor.....or is it yet another useless article?

by default the screen display is to bright , and needs darkening

£40 plus VAT is not £40 to the consumer.

So you mean "ok at £48". To be fair, I wouldn't pay £80 for that monitor. £60 would be a good price.

Either way the package at £161.49 is good value for the OP, as it's new with a full warranty.

You must be the jelly baby...or perhaps your brain is too small to interpret my writings.

I think both are the case.

Allow me to help you. What I wrote was to mean that I would price the monitor at a value of £60 within the bundle, leaving a cost of just over £100 for the base unit.

So the fact that you paid £48 for the damaged box monitor was good for a monitor worth at least £60.

So there was no argument. Only you babbling on uselessly as to whether the monitor has an HDMI port or not.

    Acer XC-215D 21.5 Inch 4GB 1TB Windows 8.1 Monitor & Desktop Bundle - Black. £161.49

Brand new with a twelve month warranty.

    AMD E2-6110 1.5 GHz,
    4 GB RAM,
    1TB HDD,
    DVDRW,
    WLAN,
    Integrated Graphics, HDMI
    Windows 8.1 64 bit

Just a word of caution on this model if anyone intends to buy it and upgrade to W10 as there appears to have been a potential firmware bug causing issues which was only fixed on 28/6/2016 so perhaps that's why they are being sold cheaply. Upgrade firmware before upgrading to W10:

1, Fix system no boot and power led blinking after W10 Upgrade.

2, BIOS not full PSP device SSID.
Science isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.
