Seems that you're spending too much time locked up with your computers. The argument is only in your head.
I just had no idea as to why you were writing about built in speakers and Microsoft Office and I'm quite sure that the OP didn't expect them either.
So perhaps you should think about the the normal consumer, as opposed to one who is locked in a room full of old Optiplex machines.

I am simply outlining a much better deal for the OP, rather than babbling on about 'clean pulls' and other irrelevancies, bound only to confuse the OP.
No one expects a brand new HDD in a seven year old machine, unless specifically stated.
I see no such statement from the retailer in question.

£143.88 is the price of the PC from the OP's intended supplier with Windows 10 Pro and a DVD Writer.

£70 is the price of a comparable bundle I put together for the OP.

    Still with me?

Don't try to be cheeky. You'll lose.

I didnt mention "clean pulls", brand new HDDs or any other irrelivencies for that matter ..

You didnt know why i was mentioning speakers etc because you dont know half as much as you witter on that you do in this forum . you're boring

Notice how all threads go downhill as soon as you pipe up

And trust me pal, i have never lost a fight in my life

babbling on about 'clean pulls' and other irrelevancies,

Put your handbag away love, the colour doesn't suit you.

Woops I didn't mean to start a fight, I am always grateful to everyone who takes the time to answer my queries.

I've decided against this deal but I am going hunting on ebay later and despite this spat I hope you all feel able to give me advice because I really need the help.

Soon as one reads "Trust me...", I know whatever comes afterwards in a pile of nonsense".
As to fighting, that's my game. I play Jiu Jitsu.
As to PCs...what I stated was that I have never owned a PC with built in speakers and therefore I was sure that the OP wasn't expecting built in speakers in his £120 bundle. Nor was he expecting OEM Microsoft Office.
I didn't write that there were no PCs with bulit in speakers.
So all of that complete irrelevant.
Once certain people get involved in a thread, Fightsback and yourself for instance. It becomes a useless 'talking shop'.
The OP wants recommendations as to what to buy, not a lot of willy waving.

As to PC, I know a fair bit and more than enough to remedy every issue that I read about here.
The problem is that most people post and then waste time doing nothing. So now, I don't waste my time.
If I see that someone is actually going to do something, then I don't mind helping.

Your 'advice' was erroneous. The Optiplex in question does not have a retail price of £100.
Then you proceeded to post a lot of other irrelevant rubbish.
    What a waste of time.
Show the OP a good deal. That's what they need.

The reason this appealed to me is that it already has Windows 10 downloaded and came as a bundle but even with the little knowledge I have was concerned about the 80GB.

Certain machines with Windows 7 or higher can be upgraded to Windows 10 for free but only until the end of this month.

Someone has to make sure your complete ignorance of switch-mode PSUs doesn't burn down someone's house.

PS the colour of those pointy shoes doesn't suit you either.

LCD screen and a VGA cable?
That's a bit worrying - VGA is a very old standard. Does it mention HDMI, DVI or Display Port (DP) anywhere in the specs?
