How awful re: breastfeeding! And by the sound of things you were never given any advice as to possible causes so no idea if you'll be able to this time or not. The quality of support and advice does make me cross!

Cleaning out cupboards? You are definitely nesting! Enjoy your peace and quiet

If nesting means that this baby will make an appearance soon (though after 37 weeks.......6 days to go!!), I'm all up for that!

Other than dh's gifts, I've now wrapped all gifts. :j I'll get dh's done this week. I haven't sorted ds's 'sheet' drawer yet. It's one of those jobs that really needs doing, but doesn't sound appealing! :rotfl:

I've spent this evening sorting through ynab. It has all been reconciled, and there should be enough for the rest of the month (as long as there aren't any more Mothercare visits!!).

We've got our consultant appointment tomorrow as well as another scan. Fingers crossed all will be good. Dh and I are off out for lunch afterwards, courtesy of Tesco vouchers! We've exchanged quite a lot, enough for 3 courses. Figured we'd treat ourselves before the baby makes an appearance. All we'll need to pay for are our drinks.

Hospital went well. Baby head down and engaged (already! ). Baby is also (apparently) not as big as they thought, and is closer to the 10th centile on the chart, but they're happy. Those scans can be out by quite a bit, though!

We had a lovely 3 course lunch out, which cost us £11. Haven't eaten dinner as we're still stuffed, so just fed ds!

We bought 4 more Christmas gifts and I've wrapped them since arriving home. I've now got 2 more to get (and they're the only 2 that dh has the responsibility of buying as he's working near to where they are!!).

I walked lots, and really feeling it tonight. I was getting loads of braxton hicks and cramps so had to move. I couldn't get comfy on the sofa, so am now bouncing on my ball!!

I've had my water bill through the post this morning. My direct debit is increasing by £1.50 from December. That's not too bad at all. We'll now be paying £40.50 per month.

A DVD day with ds today as it's pouring with rain and I'm completely shattered. He's choosing Christmas DVDs as well, so it's all good here!! I'm waiting for his Children in need top to be delivered. It's out for delivery today, but needs a signature. I'm really hoping they won't deliver whilst I'm dropping him off/collecting from school. I may leave a note on the door begging :rotfl: I'll be gone around 15 minutes at a time each time, it would be just typical that they deliver then!

I've got a bolognese in the slow cooker today. Smells good already!

It's my last day at work tomorrow. It's all Becoming very real now!

    :j :j :j Maternity leave is here :j :j :j

Yesterday was this first time at work I thought, I'm not sure I could keep going any longer. I struggled during the afternoon. I'm not sure if it was psychological as I knew I was finishing, or whether I'm just getting to the point where it is tough to keep going. I was in agony last night, though. I ended up coming up to bed soon after 8 as I couldn't get comfortable at all on the sofa or my ball. I was asleep by 9!!

My ds woke early yesterday morning, which he never does, and shouted that he needed the toilet. I tried toilet training him at night around a month ago, but he was far from ready so I put him back in nappies and decided to try again when he shows signs of being ready. I figured yesterday morning he could hear me (I was up early for work) so was just being a bit of a monkey. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, took him to the toilet and discovered his nappy was completely dry :j I put him back in a nappy last night as I didn't want to put pressure on him, and thought it could be a one off, but he called me 20 minutes ago needing the toilet :j :j :j I've put him back to bed in a night time pull up, and will move back to them from tonight. So proud of him! He's also gone very quiet so I think he's gone back to sleep :j At least the night time wakings are good training for when the baby is here!

I'm taking ds for a haircut this morning. He's usually good as gold having his haircut, so shouldn't be too bad!

My topcashback payout is in the bank. I've kept it to one side for December, in case work mess up my pay. I'm not feeling too optimistic! I'll find out a week from today how much I'll be getting.

Happy successful morning. Took ds to have his hair cut. He was very well behaved (he loves having his hair cut)! Cost of that was £8. I then wanted to call into the local charity shop to see if they had any vases. I've had more bunches of flower shops for various reasons over the past few days than I've got vases. I found a lovely, quite modern, vase for £1. Ds then found a hot wheels car transporter lorry. He doesn't know, but he's getting a hot wheels set for Christmas. Ive looked at these lorries before and they're quite expensive. I've seem the same one, but a different colour on offer this morning for £17.99. The price of this one.......£1. ds loves it! Total morning cost - £10.
