Sat 16th/Sun 17th July - What Small Debt Free Wannabe things will you do today?

Unexpected things happening this week meant I didn't eat everything I'd prepared. So for today's meals I went through the fridge for anything that might not last much longer and put it all together with some green curry paste. A weird combination but it tasted surprisingly good, and nothing's going to get thrown away.
I brought my budget up to date with the last few days' spending. It helps me to keep to the budget if I keep looking at it.
This afternoon I'm staying in with my library book, away from the shops!0 -
- Check status of topcashback payout, if available then order steriliser from Amazon but will double check that's still the cheapest place first
Paste the Amazon web address into Flubit.com and Flubit will email you back a company that is selling it cheaper.Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -

Hi July Joculants,
Thanks for the starter LegoMum. Woke up feeling a bit mentally low but have got on with the day. Moping won't help.
Debt Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Two:
* Did RM Surveys.
* Turned nearly empty bottle of eyedrops upside down to get the dregs out.
* Went to the cinema to see Now You See Me 2 as a friend had a part in it. We took in contraband snacksand then I turned around and DW had spent £7.50 of her own money on nachos. That's so not like her. I didn't make a fuss though cos I didn't want to spoil our treat. Had to go quite a distance to a cinema that was showing the film.
* Stopped off in Asda while we were out as we haven't an Asda near us. Hunted down and purchased cous cous which is currently unavailable in our Tesco and Morrisons.
* Paid £40 into my holiday savings.
* Heard from a Turkish friend in Marmaris that the unrest is over. Good news for his restaurant.
* Toss a couple of cherries into some Polish cherry liquer a friend gave me and try to enjoy a night in.
* Made a positive career decision. Watch this space. Can't give details yet.
Live long, live well and prosper.

Evening all.
Just got back from holiday in Cornwall. Had a lovely time. Day dreamed of running away there and living in a tent in the woods.
However, back, have shopped for stuff for fridge and have had a quiet day.
Need to do an enormous job list tomorrow.

I'm back! Later than planned but here nonetheless. It's been a long and busy day and my stupidly pale skin made sure I got well and truly sunburnt after an hour outdoors in the sun today. Wish I thought a bit more often about suncream for myself...:o
Lots done though including lots of little annoying things :j:j:jcrazy_cat_lady wrote: »

Lego Mum Thank you for starting us off this weekend.
