    haha... my mum always tells me i shouldn't let my dog on the sofa. I always tell her that i can't stop him when i'm not in and your post kinda proves that.

    My dog has the run of the house except the spare room which is the cats' room and has a babygate across.

    I wouldn't leave him outside incase he either got stolen or barked a lot. He is left for about 4 hours a day

    as a puppy I used to leave her in the kitchen but now she has the run of the house. She is never left for very long though.
