Urgently seeking some advice...

Hi, as you have been advised by others I think it is definately worth seeing if you can get the current landlord to back down on the deposit.
How about
Dear Landlord,
As you are aware you have asked me to vacate the property on xxxx
I have found a suitable alternative property and passed the referencing and credit check for this property. After exploring every avenue I am unable to source the deposit of £500 and I would like to request that you kindly refund my deposit in advance of me leaving in order that I can secure the property.
I can assure you that if I am able to secure the alternative property I will be leaving on xxxx as requested. However if I am not able to secure the property I will not be able to vacate the property as I have no alternative accommodation. I would welcome you paying the landlord directly if this is your preferred option (details below).
Without securing alternative accommodation I will not be able to vacate the property as requested. In this case I will need to seek alternative emergency accommodation through the local authority and will require to be evicted through the court process in order to do this.
Regards xxxxx
Is there any way the LL could pay the £500 direct instead of giving to the OP? It might alleviate their fears that the OP still won't leave.

OK Thanks.
Reason I was asking if you had moved in before 27 February 1997 you may have had a more secure tenancy.
Anyway Good Luck.......Advice given on Assured and Regulated Tenancy, Further advice should always be sought from a Solicitor....0 -
Since I last posted I've tried everything and managed to get another £100 together. But I'm still short. So I've decided to kill myself and bought the tablets. I just can't take anymore pressure.0

I think a mod needs to take action on this thread and then lock it. The OP clearly has MH issues. OP call the Samatitans again. No one on here can give you the money or the help you clearly need so seek professional help.0

Loving person. Please do not do this. Ring the Samaritans or take yourself to a and e. Please.0

Contact your local authority Adult social team they are available 24/7....Intervention from them will help you with your immediate suicidal feelings and should be able to get you on the right path for appropriate housing.
I've been were you are as have many others who use this forum...MH problems are hard to overcome when you don't have the appropriate help but getting that help is down to you.
Lots of people are in your position and it's hard to see or find a solution but the battle against it is only won when you seek the correct help. Spend the time left in your tenancy getting that help and remember vulnerable people are in a much stronger position when it comes to getting help with housing.....Now flush those tablets away and have a cup of tea, imagine your life with a positive outlook for the future.0 -
How are you doing LP, have you managed to call someone for support?0

I had a long talk with the Samaritans. The person I spoke to there was very kind and I feel calmer. She also advised me to ask people in my life if they can lend a little, even just £10.Alice_Walker wrote: »How are you doing LP, have you managed to call someone for support?0
