This is from the "Car Hire Excess Reimbursement Insurance Policy
Worldwide – Collision Damage Waiver and
    Supplemental Liability Insurance":
5.3. POLICY LIMIT – THE MOST WE WILL PAY
We will reimburse You for the Excess, repair costs or associated charges up to a maximum of £6,000 for
any single incident. You can claim under this Policy more than once but in total We will only reimburse
You up to a maximum of £6,000 during any one Period of Insurance
To me that says the most you'll get is £6000. I'd read it yourself & see what it means to you.

When I hire a car from Avis in USA there is no excess to pay! It is included.

the price you get for being a UK cit is inclusive of the insurances/extras

if you looked onto avis and changed yourself to a us Cit and got a quote you will see its more than half the price :-/

I already explained it to you. You are only confusing yourself and perhaps others reading. So....stop.
You are mixing Excess Reimbursement and CDW. They are not the same thing.
The £6000 is with reference to Excess Reimbursement.

    I wish I was a young driver ;-) I'm 44
And it's a airport-airport hire but it's 2 weeks in August so seems to be a sting the tourist price.
