No I don't. I wouldn't in the 'real world' and most certainly would not on a public forum.
We all have different personalities I guess. In real life I would stand up to anyone, and have done, if they acted in a way that effected me or those I care about.
If someone acts like a pillock towards me then they will get short shrift in a calm, intelligent and non confrontational way. That is both online and in life.
I make no apologies for calling people out if their behaviour crosses a line.0 -
I wouldn't waste water on a shower every morning if there was a water shortage - you can have an all-over wash using just a wee basinful and a cloth.0

It would actually help if everyone posting kept in mind that the people they are posting to are real live living breathing human beings and not just words on a forum. We are alive and will smile or be hurt as would the person posting should there be hurtful, derisive and cruel words directed towards any one of us and yes, if we are a group others will respond in support of the person targeted and the incident escalates to encompass the whole group. A little thought of how posts are likely to be interpreted would go a long way towards keeping things amicable even if the whole prepping movement is complete nonsense in individuals opinions.0

I think someone poking fun is how all this started.0

yes like camping in the old days, one small kettle of warm water in a tiny bowl. I always felt clean afterwards and do you remember the dry shampoo? I think that was pretty effective too0 -

Not yet.
As for the editing rule, I think 30 seconds is a bit short.
I'd have thought 5 or 10 minutes would have been more reasonable.
Weather wise, it's currently dry up here, and a pleasant-ish 53f.0 -
It is worth having a look at the revamped (apparently) forum rules page at https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/site/forum-faqs?_ga=2.249176775.1741740360.1506802735-1293668898.1449351269
I can't see anything in there, about limited editing times :huh:0 -

In an emergency, surely you would scrap the shower, thereby reducing consumption by 40% ?0 -
