LOL - can you imagine? My name isn't even that unusual. But i got fed up with repeating it several times, then spelling it, and they still get it wrong...
I wanna be in the room where it happens

When they redid the loos in our local shopping centre they did just that. Quite apart from being more hygienic it's much more accessible for mums and the disabled. They also have a couple of bigger cubicles which can accommodate a buggy

You just know when loos have been designed by the childless who have never had to get themselves, two Marks and Sparks carrier bags and a toddler who needs a wee NOW into a cubicle and close the door without virtually having to stand on the seat

Let alone having to lift them up afterwards to handbasin level. You can't wash their hands if you're too busy holding them and telling them doesn't work

So glad it will be easier if/when I have grandbabies
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

I hate my name too. I always wanted to be Graziella like my school friend!
The arms on jackets are always too long for me, so in public loos I shake the cuff down and use it to grip the handle.

I didn't like my name when i was a child, but I like it now.
  • how do you feel about the new trend to multisex/allsex toilets? Personally I hate the idea of sprinkled toilets and letting a grandchild go in on her own, or any female or young lad tbh, never know who is lurking hidden in cublicles.

Just been in the Reading Ikea for the first time. (Only opened last year.) I was quite shocked to find it necessary to pull a door to leave the gents.

Usually I use a tissue to augment the hand drier, so this was used to hold the handle and then abandoned for the cleaner.

:( Any business installing them wouldn't be getting any business of mine, I'm afraid. There should be some spaces where you can go about your business among your own gender in peace.

When we were on a cruise last year the public toilets had a box of tissues on the inside of the main door and a notice asking everyone to use a tissue when opening the door.
