Just noticed on the parking charge notice it states that when writing to them I need to include full reasons for contesting liability otherwise the appeal will not be processed

    any thoughts?

should I follow their instructions (add the reason in the template)

or just send the template ?

Just send the template. If you do anything else you risk giving away the driver's details.

Await the outcome of your appeal and take it from there ( the advice here is to go into ignore mode unless you get court correspondence)

Yes the template was your appeal, just to make a point and challenge it, that's all. It won't actually work. It won't get the PCN cancelled. You are not advised to appeal to the IAS (second stage) and like all other posters here with an IPC PCN, you can just cheerfully ignore all the letters from now on, except if you get court papers or a Solicitor's letter.

Nothing else needs doing or worrying about. Keep all letters.

Come back if you get court papers, not if you get reminder letters & debt collector drivel - we never want to read about those (too many posts already)!

Do not pay, sit tight. Everyone does this with IPC firms on this forum.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    got that,

can I just ask, what do people on here normally do with all the photos they take,

and all the information they have like, receipts, photos of no entrance signs, etc.

I'm guessing they are kept for future use in court ?

    Thanks

Yes - photos of signs as they stand now, is in case the PPC tries court within the 6 years anyone has, to pursue any 'debt'.

Receipts are used to complain to retailer Head Offices, landowners etc.
