is there any possibility that someone could check the document I put together by downloading it and checking it.

I will be posting the whole letter online soon for others to look at.

sorry people for looking so selfish at the moment, its just that I read that these PPC employees troll the forum, so I want to be a little bit careful and i pray one of them don't download from the link before I delete it

does anybody know if UKPS is banned from obtaining info from DVLA
and can anybody answer if I can get away with not putting my address onto the letter i send UKPS

can I just give them my email to reply to or can they then by law just ignore it ?

    Thanks

So sorry for the delay. i have been working on the letter and went to CAB today but they could not tell me what to add, take out, or how to edit it, Actually the man didn't even really want to look at it. all he could offer me was a printout of the cab page relating to the subject .

yes coupon mad it is that PPC

sorry i missed the question the other day

Don't bother with CAB as they have no idea about private parking tickets.

None of those links work for me. The best method for NEWBIES normally is to upload the images to a webhosting site such as tinypic or photobucket (but not one where your real name can be seen.) Post the URL here but change http to hxxp so that someone here can change it back to a live link.

UKPS can get your (keeper) details from the DVLA so there is no point in omitting it.
They won't ignore it. Send the appeal by whatever method is on the PCN/NTK.

by leaving my home address out, and giving them my email address I am hoping that they see my letter and realise that they are in the wrong and then just ignore it, or reply by an email to me to say that they drop the charge.

I am also hoping that if they want to pursue with the charge, they would let me know by email.

I am also hoping that if they want to pursue with the charge, they would send the information I request from them, by email.

I can then go onto the next stage (appeal if need be) with my home address. (since they will be finding it out anyway)

the real question is would my letter be one that would be classed as valid/and upheld in court with an email as a form of contacting me, and without a home address as a form of contacting me ?

If it goes to appeal/ and then to court, how would it look on my part? would it look bad on my part for not giving my home address at the start.?

could UKPS hold it against me and as a result could I lose an
    appeal?

or am I, by law, allowed to do it ? ( leave my home address out and give an email address as my contact) is it allowed by law? (meaning would it still be upheld in a court)

and also would it still be classed as a legal document of such ?

I would really appreciate any thoughts/ info and help please ?

    Thanks

They will know your home address because they will pay the DVLA to get it. It will make no difference.

You are overthinking this. The private parking industry is an unregulated scam. The parking scumpanies just want your money so won't care what you put in your letter. IPC members reject 80% of claims no matter what is put in an appeal.

The important thing is to reply and challenge the charge. This will make you look reasonable in the unlikely event that it gets t court. Ignoring or not challenging it will make you look unreasonable.

The regulars here know what they are doing, so please follow their advice. They have done this hundreds of times and know what works best.

So, send the initial IPC template letter from the NEWBIES thread within the appeal timeframe. Copy and paste, do not edit it so that you don't give away who was driving.

That's it, phase one done. If/when they reject it you either ignore anything or everything you get for the next six years unless they are real court papers, or you can make a pointless IAS appeal and then ignore anything or everything you get for the next six years unless they are real court papers.

You are not dealing with reasonable people. I doubt if you can think of anything new that hasn't already been thought of and tried before, so just follow the advice given and don't try to re-invent the wheel.

ok thanks for that, it has made it a lot clearer for me.

I am going to send the initial IPC template letter from the NEWBIES thread as the registered keeper and my home address.

"so just follow the advice given and don't try to re-invent the wheel."
Thanks for the telling off lol.

I really appreciate all your help everyone.

No worries. It is a complicated process and takes some understanding, but you are getting the hang of it.

Tell all your friends and family to come here if they fall foul of this foul industry as well.
