I went to see a Christmas tree 'exhibition' at a local church today. It was lovely. Lots of different themes so got plenty of inspiration. Great way for the church to raise funds
Our tree is more of twiggy affair, with tiny fibre optic lights at the end of the braches. The lights are gentle, white and pastel colours. DH suggested it and I thought it sounded naff but it looks lovely
I am planning on making a small floral display for the window sill using a red oval shaped tin (I think they were intended to hold a couple of jars of jam as a gift?), some greenery, berries etc. That will keep me quiet for a while and let my creative side shine (In fact I don't have much talent but I enjoy myself!).
I will light the tealights when the decs are in place, and enjoy the cosy prettyness. I love it.
MI have changed my work-life balance to a life-work balance.0 -

Just remembered I have a box of 16 glass star candle holders and tea light style led candles from my wedding tea (2015) that I can use for Christmas this year.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0

Hi everyone,
I hope you might be able to help.
I'm looking for a plastic sheet that I can wrap a hamper and then tie it at the top with a bow. Not sure where the best place to go is? Hobbycraft? Is there a word for the thing I'm looking for?
I know a lot of you are very handy with your DIY skills so I thought I'd ask.0 -
do you mean cellophane? I buy mine at the florists if I need one piece. they dont usually charge too much.0

Speky - I bought mine from eBay - just typed in Hamper wrapping and got loads of choices. It's my birthday the day after your mums, so if you have over stuffed her hamper, you can send some my way :rotfl:
I have been in full on Fudge production this week and have jazzed up some of the packaging I bought to wrap it in - now all labelled up and in the 'fudge fridge'Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Update. Poundshop didn't have anything so phone my local florist and they said they'd give me some plastic and a bow as long as I put a couple of quid in a charity bucket. How nice.
Thank you cbsexec for the idea.0
