Hi @Philippa91 of course the devil is in the detail but I had 5x defaults and multiple pay day loan usage between 2-4 years ago and I have just got my mortgage offer through. Fingers crossed for you.
Amazing news! Congratulations 😊 It gives me a little bit of hope so thank you.

We had our offer this morning 🎉 some adverse 1 CCJ fully settled from 2016 and some 3 defaults fTom 2016. Nothing since. Application. On 5th jan and questions asked a week later. Then waiting on valuation which was done last Wednesday 10th. Hosp this helps
Wow congratulations 🥳 Thank you so much for replying it helps put my mind at ease and gives my partner a break from me stressing 😂
  • We are just in the process at the moment and awaiting a decision. I have some adverse credit in 2015/2016 some defaults and a CCJ all for small amounts. Everything has been fine since.

This is our timeline so far:
    29th January 2021. AIP received

Friday 5th February 2021. Full mortgage application submitted.

Tuesday 9th February 2021 valuation requested.

10th February 2021 requested P60 from me and my partner.

11th February 2021 valuation took place.

Fingers crossed we hear something soon 🤞.

Thank you for replying 😊 I have my fingers crossed for you and wish you all the luck. I hope you hear back this week with amazing news!
  • Hi - another one waiting anxiously! Originally had a DIP from Kensington before Christmas but they stopped their HTB products so had to go back to the drawing board. I have a CCJ (now settled) I didn't know about for £499 in 2016. One default in 2016, also settled. A few silly payday loans in 2018 - all settled.
Application submitted via my broker on 4th Feb.
MB called to say all passed so far (She said that was good news but no guarantee) and money for my valuation is now showing as pending out of my bank account so they're clearly planning to do one!
Nothing else yet - when would I hear something else do you think?
Frustrating news today was that the house which we were 'promised' would be finished March / April is now looking at May / June but gives me more time to save up for all the lovely things I want.
I am no stranger to stressful situations but this is the WORST!!

    Fingers crossed for everyone!
  • The waiting is awful! We had an email from  MA to say our case is now with the underwriters for review and we should have a update in 2 working days but who knows. I’m expecting them ask for more information as that’s what my MA prepared us for at application stage. It’s it’s actually been a quick and smooth process for us so far!! Maybe it’s yet to come!!

Does anyone know if precise are accepting applicants who have been in receipt of the Self Employed income support grant. I know they don’t allow it as income.
  • Back again - just looked at my bank and the payment for the valuation has now left my account. Is this a good sign? Or nothing to get excited about?!
  • I would say it’s a good sign. I read on their website that they only instruct valuation if they are happy with the paperwork but then I read somewhere that they instruct straight away so who knows!! Wishing you luck!

Our MB asked for the paperwork to go through before they instructed valuation. So I think they can do it the other way around. He didn’t want us to pay the fee to be declined after !
