Due to get the keys this Friday, everyone in order by sounds of it.
On our Offer it says refund of valuation fee upon completion of mortgage. Does that mean after final payment is made in about 35 years we’ll get the refund?
Lol no, you'll get it back after you complete. Ours came about a week after we moved in, via the solicitors.
Thank you, wonder why they wouldn’t just take it off the solicitor fees. Had ours through this morning and they’re higher than what we expected.

Yes ours came through slightly higher than expected. But then after we completed, the solicitors called and said we had overpaid by the exact amount as the valuation fee, and they just BACS it to us that day. Good luck with the move
  • Mortgage application has gone in, nervous wait. How long did people wait who applied recently? im assuming Christmas and New year will slow things down for me. Fingers crossed its not too slow as im using help to buy on the current scheme.

We got approved subject to valuation in 4 days. Valuation took longer to happen as our sales office was only open part-time. All in all two weeks from application to offer. Our broker was brilliant.

Where abouts on the offer does it mention it being refunded? I couldn’t see it on ours

  • Hey, just wondered if anyone has got a mortgage with precise with 4.5year unsettled CCJ? We literally just found out about the ccj when declined for mortgage with Barclays,  valuation was completed then we got the decline due to credit. Was advised that if we pay it it will still remain in file until it has been 6 years. Shall we pay it off? Does precise have a minimum about of time a ccj has to be settled?
