  • My broker just called, precise called to confirm if there had been any changes in situation and then told him the application was in final checks! Hopefully hear something positive soon!
We had offer within 48hrs of that update so you should have it tomorrow! Or friday. Then u can party all week.
Fingers crossed! I'm am relieved the valuation came back with no issues Ive been reading some horror stories of properties being undervalued because of the pandemic and effect on economy!  Don't know how you've kept yourself sane waiting for 16 weeks, I'm struggling and this is only our 4th 🤣
It has been very hard I must say. Finally, offer on the table so solicitors can start to do their job and we can exchange and complete. Fingers crossed for you! You should get your offer tomorrow or on Friday. Apparently, final checks are just a formality to check your underwriter. Its time to get bubbly chilled :)

Yeah my broker said that today but you just want to see it in black n white don't you lol! Got an exchange of contracts date set for a week on Friday but the anticipated completion date has been pushed back to Feb because a bloody road! But something to look forward too in 2021! As long as we complete before the stamp duty cut off I'll be happy!
  • We are in the same position. Waiting for the valuation to be reviewed. Broker said that should be done by close of play today then put forward for final checks. I’m going insane waiting!!
  • Our broker just called - we've got the offer!! 🍾🍾🍾🍾 So relieved not sure it's sunk in yet!

  • Great news
  • Does anyone have any experience of the mortgage offer being extended? Just wondering what you have to do after it expires, I know it says about another credit check and updated references...
The sale of the house is going slower than expected.
  • Anybody have experience of furlough with these guys? I was due to be back to work full time tomorrow but am being kept on 3 days a week with my wages being topped up to 100% by my employer, are they likely to pull the plug?

Also my valuation is scheduled for this Thursday, does anyone know if they still did them last time?

No experience re being on furlough but surely it should be fine if no reduction in wages? Also I would assume if construction is still allowed to go ahead then valuation should too!  Just got all the paperwork through for the offer, defo more excited about it now I have it in black n white! :)

I was on furlough from April to Sept and I couldn't proceed with our full application until I had my first payslip back to work. I definitely put in a call to find out where you stand. How far along are you?
