I think anything you sell can technically be a profit, as long as you get back what you spent. I bought 2 ipod cases @ £1 the other day, they dont fit my ipod and cant take them back, so technically anything i make is classed as profit, cos otherwise they'd be shoved to the back of the wardrobe and not earning a penny.

  • ahhhhhhhhhh I still havent had a chance to even begin ebaying :(

Everything is all sorted and stacked in boxes in my sons room, but just not getting the opportunity to begin listing. I'm going to list at least a box a week.

I've decided I'm going to stick a sign on the computer booking it for the evening lol ...otherwise I just let my daughters go on msn and I feel mean kicking them off.

An A4 sign all written out and as soon as I sign off its going to be stuck to the keyboards.:D

Good luck everyone, great to see more people joining in. :)

ohhhhh I'm feeling really christmas (getting on oh's nerves actually cause I keep mentioning it lol. With this thread at least I'm getting my daily christmas fix :xmassmile

Sally savings - sorry to hear that you havent had a chance to list anything. But dont despair - I think the note on the computer is a great idea.

I would also be cheeky and add to the note a bit
"I need to go onto the computer to raise money for christmas pressies - so just to let you all know - no computer for me - then no pressies for you" :rotfl:

    Good luck with the listing

  • Well, my listings finished last night. Made a grand total of £10. Not the best but a start. I'll be listing more this afternoon if kids are quiet!:rotfl:That'll be the day!
    Nothing to declare ;)
