well done brownjasperdog!!! and well done all! it really isnt down to me - its down to how well you have all done and how hard you have tried!

will get new spreadsheets sent out asap - im being a nurse at the moment so hopefully will get 5 minutes to do it tomrrow!! :)

Made about another fiver this week. Brill hey LOL! Every little helps! the biggest sum of money any of my items has gone for has been £8 - most are less than £3 so I am pretty impressed at how the pounds add up.

I am however gutted that I still have the monster presents to buy - mobile and a telly. I also need something special for my mum - if you have any great ideas can you post it on the "calling all mums thread" i posted earlier. I am HUGELY stuck!! I also have 2 friends to buy for - and ask them what they want and they decide in december - panic last minute buys. worst case spend there is £40 hoping to do it more cheaply but often ask for vouchers etc. Telly is around £500 (but only calling it £250 for this challenge as it is half xmas half bday gift) and mobile around £100 ...which is still £400 to spend without anything super duper for my Mumma! ARGH!

Good news guys! the 'Tart is back with a vengence. I've just heard on the parental grapevine that a clearout of the loft will be commencing this week - all items donated to the eBay challenge or charity bags as appropriate. So the fire has re-ignited and I'm back in a listing mood! I will get to 75% god damn me!

Sounds as if you're going to get there Jamtart..good luck to you.
You'll be ebaying next doors things soon lol

I've got to readjust my signature once I've worked out the ebay fees as I've had a few listings ending. :)

I also found an old watch a boyfriend gave me and never worn (this was over 24 years ago lol)....which I was going to list on ebay for £10 and a friend was round and she thought it would be worth having it valued. and *gulp* it was valued at £150-£180 :) so really really chuffed. I have since sold it privately (to my friends mother) for £140. I am only putting £40 of this towards my challenge and the remaining £100 is going to Cancer research in rememberance of my mother and mother in law who both died of cancer (I normally donate money to cancer every christmas)
  • Thanks to jamtart6 for the spread sheet. This is my first post so hoping to get the hang of it real soon.

So far have a profit of £60.91 from ebay. :j

Now have to work out what I have spent so far for xmas....

More stuff to put on ebay so here goes nothing!!!

Not working today so am taking advantage and putting some bits on ebay.I am fuming with boots.com as they owe me £60 for a lost order and I have to send my passport photocopies to get a refund but have managed to order some bits of their website again for xmas pressys and got back £35 in points which will be spent on myself in the sales:D Also found a box full of wrapping paper tissue and ribbon and lots of nice xmas cards in the pantry so thats one less thing to think about now.Hopefully will make about £50 from the bits am putting up on ebay today and this will go towards some curtains if i move within the next few weeks.Another gift to add to my list -want to send a nice doll to the daily mirror to forward to the little girl lakshmi who was on the news for having her major limb removal operation yesterday.
    need to update my signature!
    Love can tame the wildest

Aww thats great news Sally Savings! and I am sure Cancer Research will be thrilled to bits with that :) (thanks very much to ex boyfriend!!)

I have been trying to work out how to reduce my spends so I can reduce how much I earn back on eBay. Pigsbacking lots to get 2 x £7.99 vouchers from cd wow for 2 of dad's xmas presents. £10 boots voucher for some things for mums xmas present. Found a phone for my Dad which is £100, but I have £10 nectar points to spend in Argos, so that will reduce the cost of that and I'm scanning eBay for ink cartridges which is what I need to buy for my Grandad.

I wish I could find a code for 75% off a HD telly. :rotfl:come on now, all wish with me! :)

Overall the vouchers and points etc should save me around £40 on the original price of the things. Must try harder next year with Nectar surveys and Tescoing. The only problem is, I hate spending my points!!!

  • Well, I've only just started really so I guess that's why it's looking so good at the moment!!! I've worked out how to add a signature in the style of quite a few of you and will try to keep it updated! Another week and I'll have more of an idea of what to aim for!

Hello! Not been on here for a while 'cos I got a bit disillusioned with some sales but am now back with a vengance!! I have just updated my signature and I am determined to get round to listing some items tonight.
I am also v. pleased as I bought a fancy dress outfit for my son for christmas and when I recieved it I realised it wasn't the right size  . Anyway I put it on ebay and it is already going for £5 more than I paid for it and it still has 5 days left until it finishes!!:D

ARGH OK GUYS! Jamtart needs some momentum. The things cleared from the loft are underwhelmingly weird......

but if anyone needs 2 emergency orange flashing lights - I'm your gal! Hmm nothing normal has come down to be sold, so they will either totally bomb, or be priceless little goodies!

Only problem is I've lost willingness to write descriptions and list them - whos got a kick up the Jacksy for me?
