Seriously though you do have time and you've made a brilliant go at listing last night

yep well done to all! there is another 5 weeks until the start of december so plenty of time to get listing and make some serious cash! best of luck all!
my 44 items have 7 that will sell, the things i thought wouldnt sell, have done! very strange! eBay is so hit and miss! going to tally up the amount spent again today as i have bought some new presents but havent tallied them up yet.
im pretty happy too as some work i thought i was getting paid normal wages for is actually being paid at 5 x what i would normally get and will majorly help towards the cost of this telly! so whilst its not on the challenge, it is money that i wasnt expecting so thank you work!!

Here is my xmas sweety box! Just wanted to see what you thought of it! It is 2 sided so lots of compartments. Cost me £6.50 but £2 was for the box, and I know dad will love the box the most!!

Also totted up my totals again as promised. £150 spent £205 earnt. YIKES! Luckily 10 of my items are now selling:T
Next year will be much easier on the cash front for xmas as Ive got £110 on my Boots card ready for the sale so less hard and fast cash involved I hope!
EDIT: Yikes just worked out I need to sell another £245 to reach my target of 75% Christmas Tree Level. Gutted! Unless..... I do the unthinkable and buy some stuff with my Boots Points and pigsback myself silly til xmas to get cd wow vouchers. That would probably knock about £50 off my total . Hm *sob* I can't bear to spend my Boot's points!!!

Hi Guys,
I've been a huge fan of E-bay for a few years now - it's been a life-saver for me and my hubby on many occasions so it is worth it and people will buy anything...... for example:
I found myself looking through my 7 year olds dressing up box last weekend, looking for a halloween costume, half an hour later I had a pile of stuff that no longer fit him. Now my son is a future MSE :money: I'm sure, because he said to me "if we sell those on E-bay, can I keep the money to buy presents for Christmas?" so, thinking he'd only make a tenner or so, I said yes!
So, on Sunday night I listed 12 items, all dressing up costumes, all starting starting at less than £2.00. We sat watching the items end last night.......they made £56!!!
I'm talking well washed, well worn (some even third hand) stuff here - but of course I chose my time well - it's halloween next week, and Christmas plays will be coming up - so, as my son is only seven, even if he thinks he is an entrepreneur, he gets £30 and we get the rest!!
So, go for it - you'll be amazed!!0 -
Hi all! Good to see everybody is doing well with the ebaying.Out of the 26 items I listed last week I only have 3 left which have had no bids but have managed to sell everything else-posted a package to denmark the other day and another to norway today-it's good practise wrapping the parcels as it may make life easier for me with the xmas wrapping.Have used the ebay money to buy the dior set I wanted from boots.com and still have funds left which I will transfer into bank account on sunday once all my auctions end and then can get some more xmas presents. Thanks again to jamtart for starting this thread and giving us all a push in the right direction-ebaying has helped me lots.
Trying to update signature but it won't allow me!-It has nowLove can tame the wildest0 -
Been meaning to join this Thread for weeks.
So far have sold 3 items, after postage and charges have made £66.98 :j
Have a further 8 items that will end Sunday so will update then.
Deliberating selling my ex husbands and my wedding rings, no sentimental value so what is the point of keeping.
Am going to have another sort out at the weekend and see what else I can sell.
Have spent about £250 on Christmas up to now, doesn't include the £300 odd my OH spent on PS3 for kids but that is out of his money not mine;)
Really enjoying this, having a de-clutter and making money.Money SPENDING Expert0 -
