    Thanks for the spreadsheet jamtart!
I have sold 3 items today but was dissapointed with 1 item that had 14 watchers but ony 1 bidder in the end therefore it went for a very low price which I am sad about as i expected it to go for at least £20.Have got lots of ebay listing fees to pay aswell but managed to save abit on postage as mum paid for 2 parcels today at the p/o.The xmas list is getting longer now aswell so will have to try and improve ebay sales.
    xmas presents to buy
Sister-ghd's in pink & vera wang princess perfume or £100 towards a miss sixty coat!-£150ish
Mum- New handbag or cardigan from principles £50ish
Oh- A new top and aftershave£50ish
Niece aged 7- High school musical stationary& jewellery£15ish
Nephew aged 6- simpsons puzzleball £10

Happy to update that I have just taken pictures and written descriptions for 37 new items to be listed tomorrow!

I had a look at some exercise dvds that I havent used in ages and decided they could go on, and had more of a craft clear out so some more craft stuff will be on. In addition some xmas type gifts bought in sales that are now unsuitable for presents are to be listed!

Have made about another £5 this week, but only had a few items listed. Hopefully next week will be better! :)

    Hello Everyone

Thought that I should update my progress and signature.

After having a really good 1st batch of sales £75 I had a very dissapointing £23.40 on 2nd batch I had some brand new text books which went really well last time but this time went for meagre amounts, maybe most students have their books by now?

Anyway, this has made me more determined and I am going through all my cupboards and units to find things to sell and have found a number of new items which I will list this week.

Good luck everyone else x x
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    Hi all,

Been AGES since I've got on here - BUT have done more than usual OS cooking etc, so isn't all bad..... !

Have managed to list some stuff on Ebay and I reckon a profit of about £120 to date, so quite pleased. Haven't totted up what I've spent yet - probably more, but need to lock myself away and dredge out stuff from the back of wardrobes, etc where I hide it all from the kids.

Hmm...might need a glass of wine and lots of peace and quiet (!!) while I do that. Might even try and wrap some stuff at the same time - that would be a 'smart' way of working to avoid double-handling and save my usual panic in the week before Christmas. As long as I label things............ !

Jamtart - think I PM'd you my email at the very beginning of this thread, but I've been offline for ages, and don't seem to have received your spreadsheet........ do you need my details again or can you still access it : would still really like the spreadsheet if possible.:A

    Good luck all !

I've made another £2.28 in profit after postage and fees from selling 5 items... I did make well over £15, but had £5 in fees as 9 items went unsold

Signature updated and present list revised as OH and I have split so not going to spend as much on presents for his family, and only buying for him, his mum, his dad and his sister, rather than for his extended family.
  • Don't worry Roz-V - you;ll make it back on your next batch I'm sure!

Had another ok batch go on e-bay - my total is creeping up. It's a little mis-leading though as I still have tonnes to buy! Oh Well:rolleyes:
