WooHoo!
My first official day and I made £2.21 (after postage) on an Amazon sale today.
So I'm on my way to Lapland LOL!
I've worked out how many people I am buying for and decided I will make all my gift tags this year - this morning i made one; so that will save me money on buying them.
Tomorrow I will work out how much I am going to spend on each present and get a total up together. I know it will be less than £200 as I don't have many people to buy for, but neither do I have any excess money......
I'm also considering doing something funky with newspaper to use as wrapping paper - any ideas? I saw in a shop they were selling the 'carrier bags' - you know the ones used for parcels instead of paper? And they were made from newspaper with rafia handles - they looked really nice. So where could I find a template for making one of those bags? I'm not in the least bit practical when it comes to things like that, but I'd like to have a go.

Well done on the sale bigpaws23.
My items i put on on Friday are doing really well. Sales are up to £10.75 already with loads of watchers. and loads not bid on yet.
my present list just got small. Not by too much but 4 presents worth, so about £60 pounds less. I have an enormous family and have loads to buy for, so i really have to get listing some more stuff.
I have decided to do some baskets for my teenage nephews, so i could save some pennies there. I have already bought my 2 youngest there main present so that is a big chunk spent. I am getting my other son a bike:o but hoping to find a bargain.Nothing to declare

I still need lots more pennies to pay for the rest of these pressies...and now that I've added the actual total up... I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to achieve the 75% christmas level that I am aiming for (really wanted it to be 100% christmas level but think I'm dreaming)
Thinking positive....I do have lots and lots of things to ebay :j
I've gone through everything with a fine tooth comb...even selling sewing ribbon that was given to me by my mother 20 years ago and money off coupons that I cant use lol.
I still have quite a few boxes to list, and I'm sure its going to take me from now till christmas to list them all anyway lol..just hope I get something for it all. I think I may get busy making craft bits and pieces to sell too.
Good Luck everyone0 -
I finally cleared my listing debt with them, so will be starting to list on the half price thursday. I do feel that I need some xmas pressie ideas though.0

Hi all those who PM'd me in the last week sorry for the delay, all should have Spreadsheet now - only thing I'd ask of you is .... please let us know how you are getting on and if the spreadsheet is useful to you!
Ok... Bad news on the "how much more needed to raise" front...£400-600 although OH will be contributing so could be at the lower end. If I can earn the cost of his TV back (well half the cost as its bday and xmas) (on top of what I've already earnt I'll be happy)...
50 odd items listed, and some have 10 and 11 watchers, and are doing really well already so I'm optimistic with the telly!! about to update my sig...
SPENT SO FAR : £73.71
EARNT BACK SO FAR: £84.71
LEFT TO SPEND £450
AIMING TO EARN ANOTHER £250
EARNT SO FAR: £0
