A last post before beddy-byes from me. Toe is throbbing something awful, but it appears that the slice almost removed has reattached since I stuck it back down *boak* My sandals are blood soaked so will be flinging them and hunting for a new, equally comfy pair, once I stop hobbling about. Wine has helped to numb the pain.

Rude, fat raspberries to your rubbish day ATB. Alzheimer's is a wicked and cruel disease. A big glass of virtual wine is winging it's way over with a greedy bar of Dairy Milk.

Pleased to hear what the Head Teacher said about MissyMoo's work Bossy. :T

Iona and CY - further sofa flying from you ladies please. You both need R&R, so Iona, please ignore shrunken garments from the TD. Cropped tops and trousers are in this season, so you'll be right on trend :p

Tired now, so lights out - see you on the other side....oh, nearly forgot - Welcome notnormal :hello:

    Hugs to all xxx

Morning all. I'll just repeat what Dizzy says above, everything/one seems to be covered.

Catching up with some of yesterday's list today and need to get out in the garden if it stays dry. And the dailies and the paid stuff (which went on forever yesterday).

Right, have a great day everyone.

    Morning all,

    Happy birthday dance mum

not a lot done so far this morning. New unit unpacked. Looks lovely and expensive (it wasn't). Now need to get rid of all the packaging! No mean feat as the black bin is full because we forgot to put the bin out on Friday. Might have to bag it up and put in the garage for another week!!!

Sad news this morning. My dear old dad was due to have a cochlea implant tomorrow. He has been deaf in one ear since I was a child and has been slowly losing the hearing in the other ear to the point where he can hear virtually nothing now even with a hearing aid. It has taken two years to get them to agree to the implant because he has had brain surgery and he has a shunt draining fluid off the brain. Anyway phone call his morning to say there aren't enough anesthetists so it won't be happening he is very upset. Hopefully he won't have to wait to long before another appointment comes up. So this morning I have been trying to cancel their hotel booking but as I paid on hubby's card I have had to get him to do it!!

Right just feeding little miss and then I will crack on!!!
Ds1 on a school trip so keep looking at the sky and hoping it doesn't rain!! They are mini beast hunting so rain would not be good!!!!
Anyway. ..... See you all later x

    Morning,

Been out on some errands this morning. Thanks for the postal advice, I just took my brothers papers to the post office, she had all the right stuff and it's off on its way - so he should get that early next week.

Had a little browse in a shop or two - purchased new tea-towels (only 2, I'm particular and I want to test drive them before I buy more, haha) and some cereal bowls. Was quite restrained as 1) I don't want to fill my kitchen full of stuff and 2) I wasn't quite sure what I wanted. Need new mugs really but I'm only replacing the old ones when I find what I want so I will hang fire.

Returned to see a few cupboards now have doors :T and all my appliances are in the garden haha. He asked me to check the worktop as the last one they did, the wrong shade had been sent, but it's perfect and looks gawjuss. He's going to cut holes in it now .

They are really cracking on, it's rather exciting :)

Happy birthday dancemum hope you have a lovely day and get spoilt rotten :)

Also hoping LW is ok and just too busy with doggie visitors to chat to us hoomans:)

Oh - I've been looking for induction-friendly pans but not found any I like yet - yesterday the kitchen fitter said "here you go, Mrs B, your pans!" I was very pleased to hear that my new hob comes with a rather fabulous set of pans - on checking they have great reviews and are rather expensive! Pleased I hadn't bought any yet since I had no idea!
