    Morning.

Fitters are here. Garden looks like a giant jigsaw. Weather fine thankfully. Have been sent the most enormous cooker hood - ain't gonna fit! Wonder if someone else has got my single one, lol.

I'm most definitely off-list this week with the lack of facilities. But thanks for the thread anyway.

I've tidied the LR which was dusted and vacced yesterday and I will move onto the conservatory in a bit. I'm not going out today other than school (meeting with head later!) so I think I'll just work my way around the messiest parts. And maybe iron the uniform I washed last week while I still had a washer...

Gawd I hope it all fits!

Ooh- bossy how exciting! We had the planners over on Friday and hoping for the plans today or tomorrow. I'm hoping we are where you are now by September:October!

Sorry I have been Mia over the weekend again. My 13 year old cat had a stroke on Saturday night and Sunday morning we made the decision to put him to sleep. He couldn't stand and walk properly. Bless him. Few tears were had by all and ds2 said a most beautiful prayer before bed time. So yesterday was spent vegging out and watching films/ watching the boys play footie.

But today is a new day and the bedroom has been put off for far too long so glad it is bedroom today!!!!
Kiddies taken to school. Run and shower decluttered. Just feeding little miss and then I will crack on.

Ah Frizzle, sorry to hear about the cat. I understand exactly how you feel having gone through exactly the same with OldDog just a fortnight ago.

Flyladies, I am supposed to be doing the paid stuff but the pc is painfully slow so I thought I'd check up on you all.

Just the dailies done here this morning. However, in my defence, there are more dailies in the summer, like watering for example.

Hope you're all having a great day, oh and thanks Piggers for the list.

Well the fella has been and gone. There's a lot of work to do before the house will pass the test. Basically he's recommending more or less a rewire from the main power coming into the house to the light fittings and some sockets being moved, like the one above the hob which also has a plug for the extractor fan hanging above it! I knew there were some dodgy things that needed sorting but I honestly dread to think what he'll come back with as a list and I know the landlady will not be happy at the amount of work that this place needs.

Now I'm going to finish the dog related laundry off, then I'm going to take Zack for a walk while the weather is nice. He was really well behaved in the yard while the fella was here so I think he deserves a trip to the park, on his long lead. I'll only let him off if there's no other dogs about as there's too many bull type dogs with irresponsible owners around here. I'll also try to keep him away from kids, he gets so excited and pants so heavily he scares them. :(

This afternoon I'll sort out my Mr A delivery, take a trip down to Mr Al for some bits without DD in tow who'll only want junk and then make a start on the paid stuff I need to get done. I'm thinking I might leave the normal laundry until tomorrow, so that I can leave the dog related stuff out on the line as long as possible.

WM has just finished so going to hang that out, then sort out the dog walking bag.

Lalala-la-la-la-la *skips in, trying to be upbeat* and...

Slice top off my big toe on the egg chair in the playroom _pale_ Cue lots of blood, curiously little pain and a weird out of body feeling. Big, comedy bandage which looks hilarious in my sandals and, most annoyingly, chipped toenail varnish!

Glasses ordered. O.M.G. I have a very special knack of choosing the most expensive item in any shop. Opticians, it would appear, are no different. I must've visibly paled, as the chap serving me said they would do new lenses in my old frames FOC, so I'd have a spare pair. That's MUCH better :rotfl: DH may faint when I tell him. Maybe I shouldn't mention it? I mean, he could do without the added stress, couldn't he?

Hugs Frizzle for the loss of moggy. Always awful when they go :(

My BoyPup back to the vets this morning to check healing progress on his inner ears. Still needs to continue with steroids and antibiotics. He's currently wearing a snood to stop him flapping his ears and flicking blood from the gash on the end of one and it must be comfy as he's nodded off with it hanging over his eyes. warm too, I expect . £85 for ten minutes and a clutch of pills.

Sitting, having a nice cup of Earl Grey waiting for the plant machinery tool hire chap to collect digger etc. I hope it's the same guy who delivered. Had a bit of a Pepsi Cola moment when he last visited ;)

    Hugs frizzle xx

Anyone know the most reliable method of sending some papers to Australia? My brother has sent something by courier that I need to return - am I as well just taking it to the PO? Or choose a courier from here? I think I need a customs form for it...

Conservatory tidied and upstairs sinks and loos cleaned. Lol, found one of DDs many drawings, she's written in swirly writing "house, mouse, woodlouse" and then drawn them underneath. She's a funny little onion...

Just going to text a poorly friend too...

hugs for the frizzy family.. my old boy is still hanging on at 17... its so hard to let them go.

Dizzy.. I always miraculously choose the most expensive options too.. its a gift  .. just knock the first digit off the price... ;)

Bossy.. I don't think it makes much difference who you send stuff with.. only the price changes.. stuff is as likely to get lost with one place as with the next.

    tesco done..

    loo marinating in harpic.

Bossy, if it is paperwork, can you scan it and email it, your brother print it off ? If not I always send stuff via the PO to else where in the world, so far I have never had a problem.
