what is wrong with me telling my female workers that they have a nice a**e.0

This is all way over the top. I'm the only female at my work and have been complimented often at work and in social situations.
There's nothing wrong with saying thank you.
All this sexism rubbish has gone way too far. I met my husband at work. Men and women are attracted to each other it's a fact if life. Unless you are creepy about it I don't see an issue.LBM: 09/12/2008
[strike]£36000[/strike] £0 on 4 cards and a personal loan. Debt Remedy. Signed with CCCS on 14/01/2009 started Feb 2009. Finished March 2016
Lessons learned and facing the struggle have made my life better than I ever thought it could be. Thank you Stepchange and DFW forum :beer:0 -
and definitely not on the company desk. Can get messy
Especially when the CEO and Snr Product Mgr didn't realise that there was a camera in the board room.
I have always found it very useful to be friends with the facilities dept
The fall out from that news was somewhat epic.
No fishing off the company pier!
Having said that I met my wife at work and she was my boss.0 -

Indeed - many married couples will answer the question "where did you meet your partner?"
"in the workplace".0 -
Taking into consideration, how many times OP has said, that his boss is stunning and starting this topic about it. I think, that his boss made a comment on his new shirt or hair cut and now he can't stop thinking about it.
I would really leave it. I am not saying, that you can't have any fun at work. However, it may turn out bad for you. I have met a few guys at work (usually 20 years or more older), who assumed after 5 minutes of talking, that I am into them and said some creepy stuff. Now I try to avoid them as much as I can. Anyway, majority of men I work with is OK
So my advice is: leave it. She may have noticed something new, said the compliment and she is like that with most of her colleagues/employees. She probably doesn't need your comments about her body or knowing the fact, that you think she is stunning.0 -

Firstly, they're not in the same peer group in work. She seems to be in the stratosphere and hes a - at a guess - apprentice, so already theres a massive stretch there.
Also, hes not asking how to respond to a compliment hes asking how to reciprocate it / take it further. Big difference.
Reading between the lines i'd suggest shes significantly older too.
I also met my wife at work, however there was nothing "forced" about having to go out of my / her way to make any sort of contact - we're similar ages and associated in the same (wider) peer group.
Far too much risk to try to join dots that very unlikely arent there.0 -
Just to add as I've seen it a few times now on different threads too, my account was created March 2012 so don't use my screen name as a clue to anything regarding work/postion.
Thanks for the answers guys, think we can put this one to rest unless you just cant help yourselves :money:0 -

I was running with the level of maturity of your posts as an indicator of your age.
Maybe you're just a late developer.
