POINT MISSED ..... If they can make it legal on a whim, what is happening to the PPC scam , at least Dolly Dee got the point ?

The 2 things are completely unrelated though. It's not as if they'd be discussing private parking if they weren't discussing prostituion.

At least with the latter, the changes should improve safety. They'll get to private parking when the reports come back and their turn comes up.

Unfortunately, it'll take ages because the government are too busy trying to figure out what's going on.

Of course they are unrelated, its just a comparison which shows where priorities lie. Until then, the scam rolls on with more vindictive PPC's extorting money from the "cash cow" motorist

Who is this cash cow motorist anyway? I'm careful where I park and I don't get parking tickets (whether council or private).
Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks

And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning

Keep up the good work then .... this forum is all about those who are scammed by PPC's who consider the motorist is their own cash cow

To be fair, I'd prioritise sorting human trafficking and safety over what is mostly just a civil nuisance.

I don't think that all those people who fall foul of these scammers and all the stress thereafter ... would consider it a civil nuisance

It's less of a nuisance than people worried about being murdered at work, no?

I never said that the PPCs should be allowed to prey on people from a legal grey areas. I'm just saying that there are other issues that are higher priority.

If it is decriminalised then perhaps prostitutes will have to start paying tax. Good. I doubt that arresting them actually deters them for long anyway.

...and, like you I am careful where I park, always paying for tickets etc when required and never got a ticket...

Until this time when I stopped to unload my car. I looked carefully for any signs before doing this. Couldn't see any signs but got stung with a PCN a week later. I hope you don't one day get caught out by these robbers like I did... I hope you don't have the misfortune to get double dipped by Parking Eye, enter a typo into your car reg on the pay and display ticket, your purchased ticket get blown off the dash on a windy day etc etc etc.
