Well, Z Palette has arrived, think I'll be able to get quite a bit into it. I'll start with loose pans and Naked 3 1st. Thinking of depotting my Naked on the run Palette as well as its so bulky, but think I'll wait until the 1st shade has been finished.

I also find that with some palettes I have shades that I either won't use or won't use very often. Luckily I only have 3 proper black shades (Black Market x 1 and Blackout x 2). I also have 2 other shades that are duplicated between palettes, and I find that for some reason the colours are slightly different between the 2.

I do like buying the palettes though as Valm said earlier they are much better value for money, and you can get colours that aren't available in the singles.

It seems ages since I had a UU, but I have several gone or going.

UU L'Oreal Micellar Water 200ml - WIB? Yes, this was a NBI some time ago that has converted me fully to micellar water. Lovely stuff.

UU Aldi Lacura wipes - My HG wipes in the pink packet, hopefully they will be in stock, but if not, the blue packet is ok.

UU Aldi Lacura cotton wool pads, 100 pack . Technically half a UU as it was a twin-pack. Lovely thick pads, a bit small but incredible value. WDBA.

Have NBI eye cream spluttering and bought Vaseline spray lotion can feeling very light.

2 TA for me. Yesterday I was wearing Dove Summer Skin (?) lotion. Had adopted it from Emma as she did not like the glitter. I don't like it either so it's gone. This morning have repainted my nails and am wearing OPI Kiss Me On The Tulips. It's a mini and I've only managed to get enough product out for one coat so I'm considering it done. Have applied Pirouette my Whistle to ring fingers.

Shopped my stash last night and pulled out NSPA Patchouli shower Creme and oil and L'Occitane milk soap and Shea body lotion.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

    One out from me

Boots Extracts Cocoa Butter Body Scrub - I have given this to the charity shop, it is fully sealed under the lid so OK to be sold on. I have used one in the past and find it thick and ineffective and drain clogging.

Depotted Naked 3 palette into Z Palette last night along with some loose pans, still plenty of room in the palette trying to decide what palette to depot next. Can't decide between Benefit Cheeky Sweet Spot (5 of the 6 blusher/bronzers remaining) or Naked on the run (1 shade almost gone and another hit pan).

Definitely more progress in the makeup department, another eye shadow has hit pan this morning so there is some definite signs of things starting to get UU. Looking forward to the next one that finishes.

Turns out the NYX setting spray was a really bad purchase, make my skin look awful, think I'm going to have to bin this and buy something else.

Well done with your depotting and UUing X one of my Smashbox Full Exposure colours has a sizeable dip so hoping it will hit pan soon.

  • Hello all, hope everyone's having a nice start to the week.

Got one UU. Original Chapstick. This actually went through the wash by accident and melted but it only had about 2mm left so I'm counting it. WBA.

    Also got some INs.
    15. Milani Blossomtime Rose Blush. Birthday present from SIL.
    16. Milani Primrose Moisturelock Lip Treatment. As above.
17.NYX eyeshadow single in Sex Kitten. I went to Bluewater yesterday and the Boots there has a massive NYX display. I was going to do one of the make your own palettes but the pans aren't out to test and so far I've found them hit and miss. Sex Kitten however is lovely.
    18. Palmers Cocoa Butter Lipbalm. The melted Chapstick was the last of my stick lipbalms and I always keep one in my pocket at work. Had this one before and it's really nice.
    19. Yes To Carrots Cleansing Wipes. These were on offer and I grabbed them in passing because I knew I wanted to take my makeup off in the car on the way home. These are really nice and soft but did sting a bit around the eyes.
    20. Skandinavisk Fjord Candle. This was a bit of an extravagance for me but I used my birthday money. It was £25 in John Lewis. I was in their candle section for quite some time! I can't even describe how nice this is. I almost bought one called Skog but it smells a lot of pine so I will probably leave that til the winter.

I have one TA. L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes Excess Mascara. I tried but I can't make this work. It looks nice straight away but it flakes, feels heavy and irritates my eyes, I think because it's so highly fragranced. I haven't found a L'Oreal Mascara I like so I think I might not bother with trying any others.
Also, 2 GAs. Collection Work the Colour Palettes in Nude and Purple. My niece is having these to play with. They're ok for the money but I have better versions of similar colours.

I wore No7 Stay Perfect Superlight Foundation all day yesterday and, at times, it was 35C degrees. I did a huge amount of walking outside and then in Bluewater and while I wouldn't say it was 'perfect' it stood up remarkably well. It didn't come off even though I was a bit sweaty. I was very pleasantly surprised. I had it on from 8.30am to 9.30pm and walked 16,000 steps in 30-35C. Thought I'd mention in case anyone needs a long-wearing foundation!
I'm back to work tomorrow after a 4-day weekend. Boo! Hope everyone has a lovely week! :)

This is one of my favourite products. I love the smell and there's no need to moisturise after the shower either.

I didn't know where on the forum to post this but as a regular user of baby wipes I would like to recommend co-op own brand. They are nice an thick and £1 for pkt 80. I bought some while visiting family as it was all the tiny little shop had.

I've read on here that aldi own brand are good quality but have yet to try them.
