I reviewed some of those and today they have offered me another set in a different fragrance. I am tempted!
I didn't realise you were a Viner too!
I had both sets on my queue, I think I got the right ones for me, but they are beautiful.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I TA a Collection 2000 lip gloss as it really did not show up on my lips and smelt revolting (like a sweet shop!). I think I will just stick to Clinique and NYX for my lip glosses now.
I was very naughty and bought two of the new L'Oreal clay masks as they were on special in Boots. I have been looking for a clay mask and L'Oreal products usually suit my skin.
Would be interested to see what you think of these. Which did you get?Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I'll be honest, I wanted them because they were so pretty, which does make them extremely unnecessary. Especially as it's quite difficult for me to take baths easily. Nice ornaments for the bathroom anyway and possibly one of the most expensive baths products gramme for gramme that I've ever reviewed.
Apart from some useless Australian shower gel, that is.
They do look pretty. I'm not a huge fan of bath bombs though. Prefer bubbles in my bath.
My Tarte Exposed blush arrived on Tuesday. Have been wearing it since then before giving my verdict. The first day that I wore it I wasn't sure about it but I had applied Maybelline BB cream only and to be fair my whole look was not great due to the heat. Yesterday though I wore it with my Tarte foundation sample and it looked gorgeous. Thankfully it looks the same in the pan as it does applied to my skin. I've heard a few YouTubers say it can either look rosy (on a paler skin than mine) or plummy like Dallas (on a more olive toned skin than mine). That's why I preferred to pick this up used as I didn't want to splurge £21-£30 and be disappointed.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. It's not good for my stash! But I am glad of all the goodies. I have discovered some lovely products, but also often thought, "thank god I didn't spend £££ on this!"0 -
Some Ins and Outs to declare:
UU 10 - Clean and clear dual action oil free moisturiser 100ml - this is HG product, as it's a nice light moisturiser and seems to work particularly well when my skin is playing up. Does tingle though, especially when you first start using it, so probably not suitable for sensitive skins. Need to get a new one, can normally get them in a pound shop.
UU 11 - Vichy idealia life serum 30ml - this was a surprise UU as I didn't realise I was near the end until the last pump this morning. Got it off eb@y for a third of the normal price. I liked it when using it, loved the smell and texture, but not sure it did much. I would get it again at the cheap price, but no way would I pay full price for it.
IN 4 - Girlz only dry shampoo dawn til dusk 150ml - chose this one as it was only a £1 in Tesco, and I didn't want to spend a fiver on a can of batiste. I go through dry shampoo at a rate of knots, and this one is ok. Haven't quite used up my big can of batiste but it's almost there.
IN 5 - Got2b hair styling oil - I actually found this when I was in London over the weekend - I was near a festival, and someone had left it on a wall outside, obviously couldn't take it in. It was completely full, and didn't look like it had been tampered with, so I grabbed it. Is that scummy? I've left it round my bf's to use if my hair gets dry, I'm slowly building up a stash of products at his so I don't feel so out of it while there.0 -
Hello all! I have a moving date, 19th August, so I am trying to 'streamline' my stash where possible!
UUs
Nivea Protect & Refresh SPF 50 200ml - WDBA, HG sunscreen!
Dentyl Smooth Mint Mouthwash 500ml - WDBA, essential.
Molton Brown Shower Gel 300ml - Ylang Ylang - WMBA, smelt nice enough!
Rituals Zensation Shower Foam 50ml - WNBA, came out so runny, didn't smell nice and didn't last five minutes!
Dove Spray Deodorant 125ml - Pure - WBA
Lancôme Genifique Advanced Youth Activating Concentrate 5ml - One of my HG serums, WDBA!
L'Occitane Magnolia & Mure Shower Gel 175ml - Nice enough, WMBA.
Gave Away
Avon Skin So Soft Silky Moisture Dry Oil Body Spray 150ml - Actually sent this one back, because you can! Didn't get on with it, had a lingering after-smell of hairspray!
Island Escape Sea Salt & Bergamot EDT 25ml - Came in the M&S beauty box, not a fan at all!
Lancôme Genifique Repair Youth Activating Eye Cream 5ml - Does nothing to soothe my eyes, I'll stick to my normal HG one!
Vichy Awakening eye balm 15ml - see above!
ORS Tea Tree Oil Scalp Relief 90ml x 2 - I thought this was a light lotion but it was a thick oil, made my hair lank and greasy! No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

I have been so good today, got an email last night from Selfridges about a beauty box, and thought must log on tomorrow and buy. Logged ontoday and realized I do not want or need it. Am I cured? Probably not.0

Amen to that. The most memorable was the Aussie shower gel that smelled like bubblegum. As soon as the 6 months was up 5 of the 6 bottles got rehomed. My grandchildren loved it...Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Finally have some outs and some use up to reports.
As some of you may remember I lost my mum a few months ago and inherited her huge stash. So I've not counted that as part of my own ongoing battle but I though you might like to know what I've been doing.
So first my own UUs
Percy & Reed hair oil- love this and wba or even better get a gwp in a magazine.
Davidoff 30mls presume finally used up. WNBA as I have too many fragrances already.
Sold 2 duplicate fragrances that I WNBA and have asked friends and family to avoid giving me any smellies at all for my birthday next week.
Photyx eye cream - enjoyed using that. It was a tkmaxx special so not sure if it will return.
Sold 22 bars of soap online. Had no idea things like that would sell. I hate bars of soap, never use them but still seem to amass them.
So onto the stash. I have kept only a few things for myself and offered up a load to friends and family. Got through four drawers of this. The rest I donated to Woman's Aid, a local shelter and a local charity that supports Syrian refugees to settle in Glasgow. I feel mum would have liked what I've done as she hated anything going to waste.
So I have a shower gel spluttering which should be gone in a few days max. It's been open a while so glad to see it almost used up.No buying toiletries Graduated May 2017Decluttered 2016 2469 items, 2017 1580 items :j2018 3060 itemsSealed Pot Challenge No 0380
