Would be interested to see what you think of these. Which did you get?

I used the Detox one tonight and I was pleased with it. It wasn't a miracle worker, but my skin did look a bit brighter afterwards and it felt very nice after three days of having a sweaty face. It was easy to remove and did not upset my skin at all.

Some uu to report and ins!

    Uu:

Herbal essences dazzling shine shampoo 200ml - WBA smells lovely and fresh (and you can smell it in your hair for ages after washing). Does the job fine. Have another of these in stash.

I love... Mango & papaya body butter 50ml- WBA this has a lovely fruity (like a fruit salad chew) smell. Nice thick consistency and rubs in quickly. Does the job well. I have the bigger version of this stashed.

Elemis apricot toner 50ml- WMBA but this didnt do any better a job for me personally than cheaper brands. Would use again but i think TBS stc do just as good a job.

Gardenia of london red rose & magnolia body spray- WBA i liked the smell of this, lasted a while too. And i had comments that i smelled nice after i used this so... 😀

    The ins:

    Lush flutterby bubble bar
Lush down the rabbit hole bubble bar
    Lush sparkly pumpkin x 2
    Lush love locket bath bomb

    X 5 in

Thanks. My daughter used a TonyMoly tomato sheet mask yesterday and I was really impressed by how glory her skin looked. I'm using LUSH Mask of Magnaminty at the mo.

Perfume was UU yesterday so just had samples left was going to home for some for birthday and UU samples in the meantime, but while choosing one to ask for I found one I liked with £15 off. used Vouchers from Debenhams card and beauty club points so it only cost me £2 of real money. So now have 1 full sized perfume, plus samples. Will still attempt to UU the sample ones.

Making progress on UU the make up stash can definately see items going down now.

    Hello all!

A couple of UUs from me......

Bamford Geranium, Lavender, Peppermint Body Wash 50ml - WNBA, this came in a beauty box and smelt wonderful but didn't foam at all really and I like ones that do!

Johnson's Extra Dry Baby Powder 425g - HG as it's talc-free, unfortunately discontinued so I'll have to revert to the doubly-priced Femfresh powder once I've worked through my remaining 4.5 bottles :(

Paul Mitchell Hold Me Tight Finishing Spray 300ml - WNBA, I got it from an online Regis sale so paid much less than it's worth, something I'm very happy about as it was one that did not much if I put a bit on, but if I put a bit more on it turned my hair all plastic/stringy looking! I'll stick to my HG Elnett ones! I didn't UU this so much as I used most of it and got sick of it so threw it out :rotfl:

Have some INs but all necessary: Nivea deodorant as the rollerball on the one I'm using is partly dry, shampoo for myself and Emma.

I have ordered a tube of Tarte foundation from someone on fb so have saved money there too.

Did have my brows waxed at Benefit Brow Bar today too.

As some of you may remember I lost my mum a few months ago and inherited her huge stash. So I've not counted that as part of my own ongoing battle but I though you might like to know what I've been doing.

So onto the stash. I have kept only a few things for myself and offered up a load to friends and family. Got through four drawers of this. The rest I donated to Woman's Aid, a local shelter and a local charity that supports Syrian refugees to settle in Glasgow. I feel mum would have liked what I've done as she hated anything going to waste.

I'm sure your Mum would have liked that very much. It must have been satisfying to know it was going to meet real needs, instead of going to landfill. A nice legacy for her to leave.

My own Mum didn't do toiletries (same lipstick all her life, impressive, really, plus Nivea and Chanel No 5). However, when she died, her household contents went to furnish homes for those rehoused by the local authority who had nearly nothing.
As a former displaced person, she would have approved.

A UU, hooray. A Christmas gift of 250 ml M & S Magnolia shower cream.
WIB? No, but only because there are others I like more that would be cheaper. It was perfectly adequate and the bottle was a nice shape.
Now on to an Argan oil one from Aldi Specialbuys, that has been sat waiting a while.

    I also have a foot-spa as a NBI.
A folding one. It's ok, but apart from being folding, it's less practical than the one I had thirty years ago.

Nothing else to declare, atm. There is a cuticle remover on my list of things to choose as NBIs but I'm genuinely not tempted.
