  • i finished the trilogy face mask- gone at least. It was fine and very nice but
have a lot in the stash to use up before even considering buying more.

I finished clinique turnaround serum. WNBA as it felt more silicone based and was fine but not spectacular.

I finished the clinique lipstick- all gone even using the brush to scoop it out it. It was nice but i want to work down the stash.

used up caudalie divine oil- have another one unopened to replace it. very nice.

will have to take the sissors to caudalie vinoperfect cell renewal cream. it was a gwp and spurted half the tube the first time i used it. it is nice but i want to work through the stash

i have only a tiny amount of bootycall left in naked 2 palette, it is coming down slowly.

i was in aldi and they reduced the caviar creams and peels, i had them in the basket and then returned them to the shelf as i reconsidered.

I'm sure your Mum would have liked that very much. It must have been satisfying to know it was going to meet real needs, instead of going to landfill. A nice legacy for her to leave.

My own Mum didn't do toiletries (same lipstick all her life, impressive, really, plus Nivea and Chanel No 5). However, when she died, her household contents went to furnish homes for those rehoused by the local authority who had nearly nothing.
As a former displaced person, she would have approved.

A UU, hooray. A Christmas gift of 250 ml M & S Magnolia shower cream.
WIB? No, but only because there are others I like more that would be cheaper. It was perfectly adequate and the bottle was a nice shape.
Now on to an Argan oil one from Aldi Specialbuys, that has been sat waiting a while.

    I also have a foot-spa as a NBI.
A folding one. It's ok, but apart from being folding, it's less practical than the one I had thirty years ago.

Nothing else to declare, atm. There is a cuticle remover on my list of things to choose as NBIs but I'm genuinely not tempted.

Thanks, I know she would be chuffed. I love the thought that your mum's things helped people who had so little. I've still got so much to do as my mum hoarded everything but so far her sister has taken some of the furniture as she has just moved home following the death of her partner a month after her sister. She never had "nice things" as she calls it and is over the moon with the new furniture. It feels good to help out this way and I know my mum would be very happy.

I'm so tantalisingly close to finishing my current day moisturiser, a hand cream, Lush toner and shower gel. It's just not happened yet - hopefully in the next few days so I can add more to my tally. The toiletry bag at work has been a great idea as items in it are going down, especially the perfume (great since not my favourite).

Latest INs (from the past month or two) - oh dear!

Body Lotions - Dove Go Fresh Nourishing Lotion with cucumber and green tea 400ml; Dove Purely Pampering Nourishing Lotion with almond cream and hibiscus 250ml. Have had a little thing for Dove lately as a lot of it is on offer in shops like Poundland.
Conditioner - Dove Hair Therapy Colour Radiance Conditioner 200ml; Herbal Essences Mandarin Scent 400ml; Tresemm! Renewal Hair & Scalp Deep Conditioning Masque 180ml. Hmm I have far too much conditioner now so need to turn the other way when I see a bargain!
Face Wipes - Simple Kind to Skin Cleansing Wipes (25 pack) - in Poundland.
Face Masks - Superdrug Self-Heating Face Mask Vanilla Fudge 15ml; Beauty Formulas Radiate & Glow Brightening Facial Mask; Beauty Formulas Collagen Essence Facial Mask.
Feet - Scholl Velvet Smooth Foot Soak 150ml - reduced to £1.75 from £6.99
    Total - 10

Today I bought some travel minis for holiday in August - 2 x 25 pack of Tesco baby wipes (will probably only take one packet); Ogx Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner 60ml; Aussie Miracle Moist Conditioner 75ml (I get through tonnes due to the long hair); Impulse Very Pink Body Fragrance 75ml; Batiste Tropical Dry Shampoo 50ml; Dove Go Fresh Pomegranate Anti-Perspirant 35ml (handy size and can keep it for work if I don't use it all); Tresemme 24hr Body Blow Dry Lotion 60ml (never had a mini version of this before but will save some weight in my luggage); Superdrug SPF 50 Sun Spray 200ml. Next thing is to get a few travel bottles from Poundland.

I have not kept up with this months thread and am currently nursing a thigh twice the size of the other due to a wasp sting on Saturday.

    UUs
15 sheet masks some actually used on thigh to try and stop the heat and itching.

    3 lush bath bombs

Lush hot toddy shower gel 500 ml WNBA used it mostly as bubble bath and it worked well for this purpose.

Lush tramp shower gel 250 ml WBA love the scent of patchouli.

Lush cup of coffee face mask WBA

3 deodorants used up all ran out within two days. WBA

    4 lush bath bombs

2 sample sized hair products from loccitane WNBA

    Schwarzkopf biotin volume conditioner WBA

Think that's most of the items used.

As someone who reacts badly to insect stings and bites, belt and braces it. Antihistamine pills + hydrocortisone cream work for me and might do the trick if you can take them.

    Already do that :)
The swelling is 20 inches across ( looks like a rugby players thigh) and after the doctors visit this morning I am being refered to the hospital.

I hope that they can sort this out for you quickly. OH had the same thing happen a few years back, I could almost see the thigh "growing" as we spoke, I quickly packed him off to the GP's surgery about 10 minutes before they were due to close and he got an anti-histamine shot, some stronger tablets and was instructed to sit with leg elevated and do nothing for 48 hours, fortunately it went down quite quickly, but we always try to carry A-H tablets with us/him now.

It is getting awfully close to the month end and will not have much to report, on the :money: front I guess I should be pleased that expensive toiletries are lasting well and don't need to be replaced yet, but I would love to have a much smaller stash consisting of HG's and other tried and tested things, I now resolutely reject any free samples and ignore ads for GWPs and Beauty Boxes, whilst I am not rich, I am no longer strapped for cash either and really do not need something just because it is free. Light bulb moment took a long time to arrive, but so pleased that the light is now on:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Sorry but I am not going to the hospital today, it has stopped growing but as in to prevent or deal with it for if and when I get stung again.

Same - it's very slow for me at the minute, which I should be happy about, but I want things to disappear, lol.

    Anyway, one UU:
    - Ren Evercalm gentle cleaning milk, 25ml. WNB. I prefer oils. And this was just a bit weird, and needed loads each time to actually feel effective. Great for using up, but not so great if I had to pay for it (it was a freebie). I wasn't a big fan of the smell either.
It's one off my 7 by Autumn list though, yay!

    A few In's though too!
    - 3 x Barry M lip pencils. I actually don't have any lip pencils at all! So this will be interesting for me... They were 3 for 2 in superdrug, so it wasn't a big splurge.

Nails were painted last night in Ciate Mistress. Very bright, and lovely. I've been using my Ciate polishes a lot recently, as the wear is just so good. I had one of my favourites on for most of last week - fade to greige, which got loads of compliments.
