A rather large update from me, I had a good go through my nail polishes and make-up, trying pretty much everything on, and decided I'd simply outgrown some things or was never sure about them in the first place!

I am moving in a few weeks and I've really been taking stock of pretty much everything I own and getting rid of the superfluous stuff!

The GAs are things I've hardly used which will be going to the women's shelter, the make-up will be going to Give and Make Up unless it's new and sealed.

INs - Both from magazines at £2 and £3.99 respectively.

Benefit Gimme Brow (Mini) Shade 5 Deep
    Benefit Ready, Set, Brow!

UUs - The ANEW cream was a surprise as it's in a pump with a heavy glass bottle so I thought there was a lot left, plenty in stash to replace so no biggie!

Avon ANEW Clinical E-Defence Multi-Shield SPF50 Day Lotion 30ml - WBA, sank in well and has a high SPF
Avon ColorTrend Picture Perfect Face Primer - WNBA, not mattifying enough!
Avon Conditioning Nail Polish Remover 150ml - WMBA, I prefer more 'open' bottles
Avon Glow Bronzing Pearls Warm Coral - Not UU but actually mized in with my colour correcting pearls to create the look I wanted!
L'Oreal True Match Powder N4 Beige - WDBA, HG foundation!
Mitchum Spray Deodorant 200ml - Shower Fresh - WNBA, product is fine but the spray is extremely fiddly and annoying!
Real Techniques Deep Cleansing Brush Gel 7ml x 2 - WDBA, I thought my brushes were clean until I used this!!

GAs - Realised I would never use these things or had outgrown them!
Avon 8-in-1 Eyeshadow Palette Nude Shimmer
    Avon Avon 5-in-1 Nail Experts
Avon Glimmerstick diamonds eyeliner Fuschia fun
    Avon Nail wraps Star Struck
    Avon Nail wraps True Zebra
    Avon Shipwreck
Avon True Colour Eyeshadow Quad Day Glow
Avon Ultra colour bold lipstick Boldest burgundy
Avon Ultra colour bold lipstick Red rave
Beauty UK High Brow All in One Brow Definition Kit
Lancôme Rouge in Love 322 TS 1.65g 322TS

TA - most of this was either too well-used or didn't suit me but you can't donate certain things once they've been used :o
Avon Luxe Couture Gloss Flirty Pink
Avon Ultra colour lip tint pen Raspberry
    No7 Eye shadow 1.9g Mink
    No7 Lip Crayon Statement
No7 Shine & Tint Lip Gloss Sultry

Oops thought you were all very quiet, I'd forgotten to join in this month.

A few out and several ins as it was my birthday so I need to rejiggy my list before I drag it kicking and screaming from June

Hope everyone is well and using their stashes up.

    Belated birthday wishes. Xx

I forgot to mention another UU : L'Occitane shampoo travel size although only big enough for a weekend away. Nice enough but don't like spending loads on haircare as I don't feel I need to. Going to try Lee Stafford Coco Loco shampoo today.

Went into Boots yesterday and got 2 X VS hair dyes from Clearance shelf for £2.50 each and 2 more Mitchum deodorants.

A few UUs at the end of the month, yay!

    - Organic Surge intensive smoothing serum. WMBA. Didn't realise this was almost done, as i just haven't been paying attention. I was more impressed the first time I used this, but still liked this second bottle. It's a lovely light, easily absorbed, and fresh serum. And I love the OS bottles - very modern and clean looking in the bathroom.

I've no facial serum left now! so need to have a proper think about what to buy. Have an oil control lotion to try/UU while I decide though :)

    Also UU:
    - Vichy Ideal Soleil tinted velvety cream 3ml sample. WNBA. Quite orangey, and made my skin look oily really quickly - not normally a problem for me!
    - Clinique Beyond Perfecting foundation sample sachet. WDBA. I actually already had a full sized bottle of this, as it's my current fave foundation :) It's quite thick, but that means it stays really well, and mixes great with creams/tinted lotions etc (for changing the colour). Plus I usually apply it with a damp beauty blender for a light dewy finish. One little sachet easily lasted over 7 of applications  - squeezed out into a little pot at the start. Nice to have as the sachet was a slightly darker shade than my bottle, so better for my current tanned face.

In's of deodorant and mouthwash from Aldi, as my current ones are almost done - but I don't stash those.

Bit annoyed - found a primark perfume id bought a few months ago, still in box, however its leaked everywhere inside the box and the plastic wrapper. Literally lost nearly 100ml of perfume. Only enough for a few squirts left in it :( so will be UU soon :(

    Morning all
Must have been really annoying about the perfume leaking gemzie.
Just about to update my list with 19 ins
Another perfume, loads of bathbombs, showers stuff and soaps. Hopefully no more ins now till Christmas unless I run out of some things
Birthday was very thanks, because it's so close to our wedding anni weve recently been using the excuse to go away, had a lovely weekend in sheringham.

Just added my ins it's taken me back to 250 items, need to have a major pampering session or three.

  • Hi ladies . . . everyone seems to be making great inroads this month. I had a deluge of UUs in the last week:

Boots Mango body butter 200ml - nice enough but I prefer the Body Shop ones. Body butter is a major problem area in my stash.
Sanctuary Spa Sea Salt Scrub - the last scrub in the stash! Nice but v expensive
Clinique moisturiser sample - didn't like it, too wet on the face
Original Source coconut shower gel - HG
Crabtree & Evelyn hand cream in Summer Hill - lovely
Garnier Conditioner in Mythic Olive - stupid name, nothing special
Sainsburys ladies shave gel - did the job

And having used up my last scrub from a decade-old stash, I realised I actually do like using a scrub occasionally, so a micro-bead free NBI with Boots points:
Boots Brazil nut scrub (HUGE tub . . .)

Shopping trip planned for tomorrow but I am going to be good and stay away from my stash problem areas - body butter, eyeshadow, blush :A

I am tempted by the Simple cleansing oil but cleansers are also fast becoming a problem area for me too! Has anyone tried it?
