OK it's the last day of July so totals:-

UU 26 - 3 items left on PP list :-

Elemis eye cream. Am struggling using this as it's useless. Am going to TA.

Maybelline BB cream. Was using this to eek out my foundation sample but now that I have full size will TA. Is no good for me on its own as it doesn't give Tge coverage I like.

S&G cleanser. Am glad this has not gone. Would love to be able to eek out both this and my Elemis cleanser to the end of the month. My Elemis cleanser is lower than this though.

Will think about PP list for the August thread.

Have UUed 5 more items than last month.

TA including those mentioned above : 7

INs: 25 (improvement on last month which was 36). Have been buying for Emma's birthday which has gone and also was receiving Burch bix sub which has ended. Am proud though that all the items purchased with the exception of the LUSH lipstick were direct replacements for UUs. The lipstick could have been worse as I was looking at UD ones first. I have also bought most things either used or on special offer/clearance too.

    No GA or sold items.

My fave products this month : LG primer, Tarte foundation and Tarte blush
Fails : Bare Minerals Bareskin foundation and Sephora lip gloss.

    See you all next month.

Must try harder with my 7 by Autumn challenge though. I had the following:-

Jack Wills Hope Cove body mist. This is going down as I've used it every day.

BB lip shimmer. Have not been applying this. Will make more of an effort.

Benefit Lemon Aid. Using this every day - going down.

Benefit Dallas. Has been gazumped by Tarte Exposed.

Smashbox Full Exposure palette. I think one pan has more of a noticeable dent in it.

    Rimmel foundation - UU

OPI Piroutte my Whistle. Have worn this all week and added more thinner to it yesterday. Am wearing it on all fingers today on top of Bourjois Beige Glamour.

    Must try harder.

Its a facebook group for doing group orders so loads of us put our orders in and the idea is if you buy more than one item from the kitchen in a week it would save you on postage compared to ordering from lush yourself, as the person orders all our stuff in one go and the postage savings gets passed onto us as they put our stuff into one box and send it altogether to us. She can hold weeks of orders for you too and send it when you want it sending to save further on postage (i had 5 weeks worth in one box - i had to wait of course but it was worth it to save the postage!) Plus its hard to get some kitchen items as they go very very fast - the magic mushroom bubble bars last week sold out in 20 minutes i think it was! But sophie always manages to get everything, dont know how she does it!! Shes never miseed an item yet! & it just takes the stress out of getting up at 8am and ordering stuff yourself too. Think its cost of items ordered + £1 towards lush postage for each day you order an item + the postage to you. Does work out much cheaper if you like to try lots of kitchen stuff. Dont want to enable though. :o If you do a search for the group 'sophie's lush kitchen group orders' or something like that! on facebook its that one, she should be able to explain it properly to you as to how it all works. Theres a new kitchen menu every week each friday but she can also order regular items to be sent in your parcel too (like the 93000 miles jelly i ordered).
Don't tell me about things like this Gemzie121, lol! I have been quite good with the Kitchen recently mostly because I keep forgetting to check the menu each week.
I noticed in the newest Lush catalogue that they've started putting some of the Oxford St exclusives in it. I wonder if this means they might become regular items? I hope so, I really want to try the Sacred Lotus BB and Ylang Song, and some of the bath oils. :)
  • More INs. I suck.
32-33. Coconut Water Shampoo and Conditioner. This little set was free when my mum stocked up on hairspray but she didn't want it.
    34. Benefit Ready Set Brow Brow Gel. Free with mag. Thought this was tinted but wasn't hence the buying of:
    35. MUA Tinted Brow Gel. Not sure what I think of this. It's a decent colour but very crispy.
    36. Celeria Molla Sandalwood and Bergamot Candle. All 3 of these were £4.99 each at TK Maxx. Haven't looked in there for ages but I couldn't resist these. You never know if things will come back at TKMaxx.
    37. Celeria Molla Neroli Candle
    38. DW Home Teakwood and Myrrh Candle
    39. Barry M Eyeshadow 9. Another poundshop one.

And a UU. Wild Orchid candle from Primark. It's still burning at the moment but it will be gone by the end of the day, it's only little. WBA.

    So totals for July:
    IN 39.
    UU 21
    TA 5
    GA 3
    Sold 0

Total at end of June was 476. Total at end of July is 486. I know that's bad but I was a bit more relaxed this month, went shopping more often and had birthday money etc so it wasn't too bad money-wise but I know that's no excuse! I need to find some willpower somewhere for August! :)
  • I started a new thread for August! Hope I did it right!

Thank you everyone for your tips (wasp stings) I will remember your tips. My leg has finally gone down I ended up on antibiotics in the end.

Trevor sorbie hair mask ( orange one ) loved it WBA

Champney heavenly days bubble heaven WMBA lasted well and gave me about 15 baths.

I've had the same experience with the Ultimate Blends products tbh. I've only tried one of their conditioners (the colour one) and it was okay but it wasn't as good as my usual bargain staple, Herbal Essences. Have you tried any of their body lotions?

I have an ocean of body lotion so haven't tried the Ultimate Blends ones. Yes, I prefer Herbal Essences too (though I plan to splash out on some nice shampoo once i'm through the current stash)

    For July overall:
    12 Outs
9 Ins, of which 5 were purchased and the other 4 were bought with points or gift vouchers

I had a mini-project pan on the go and I achieved 6 of the 10 goals - because everything I have is full size, these were things like "get down below the writing on this tub" and "make a noticeable dent in this lipstick". Will do and share a similar one for August. See you on the August thread!

    Hi ladies,
A last update from me for July (and possibly for a while depending on my progress after surgery next week).

    UU:
2x S&G shower gel minis 75ml. Clean on me and orangasm (sp?) i was pleasantly surprised by the orange scented one, its a really nice scent.
L'occitane essential oils shampoo 35ml. Very nice.
    Pantene conditioner sample sachet
    Avon supreme oils shampoo 400ml

    Some INs though
TBS vineyard peach body scrub 200ml
    TBS raspberry shower gel 250ml
    Lacoste perfume vial
Blistex mango and orange lipbalm (impulse purchase when i needed to break a note for the bus :( )

Have a great evening all, and i'll be back soon!

    Final UUs

Bubble T Shower Jelly - came in a beauty box, did the job, but WNB as it comes in a pot which is fiddly in the shower.

Batiste Dry Shampoo - travel Size - I've never really understood the dry shampoo hype. It makes my fringe fluffy for about an hour then it's back to being greasy again.

    Uu:

Dr Jart V7 Relief Vita Drop Drop Serum: Was part of a beauty box but you can but it from Boots for £35. Don't think I will. Not sure what the point of it is. It left my face dry when I used it own its own but seems to work ok when applied over my night cream.

    Ins:

    Lidl Sensitive Body Anti-perspirant.
