Been to Boots again today as there were a couple of things that I forgot to get on Wednesday: Boots nail polish remover and cotton wool. Only have enough remover left for one application now I think and only a handful of cotton pads left.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

No UU for ages, then they all come at once lol. A few more from last night and today:
- Elemis frangipani monoi body oil (full size) - WMBA. I love using it, but not sure I'd pay full price for it. I've another couple of minis to go through first.
- Clinique smart custom repair eye treatment 5ml sample. WPBA. Have used this a few times, always liked it. Sinks in well, last aaaages.
- Elemis gentle rose exfoliator 15ml sample. WNBA. Must prefer enzyme masks for exfoliating.
- StriVectin-AR Advanced Retinol Night treatment, 7ml sample. WMBA. Nice to use, felt like it did a bit more than most nigh creams. Lasted a few days, but would like to try over a longer period of time. Edit: just looked up the price. Will def not be buying this! £85 for 50ml
- Kueshi Anticellulite lotion. WNB. Came in a beauty box, but not great even as a plain lotion (took ages to sink in) and I very much doubt it did anything else (I never believe claims re. cellulite or other)
So my 7 by Autumn is moving forward:
- Barry M Flawless Chisel Cheeks contour kit
- assorted bath products (2 very old Lush bath bombs, Tisserand Sweet Dreams bath oil 20ml, and M&S Morroccan Escape bath essence 50ml)
- Benefit Confessions of a concealaholic kit
- 2 primers (Monu illuminating primer spf 15, and one other)
- [STRIKE]2[/STRIKE] 1 eye treatments/creams ([STRIKE]Clinique custom smart eye treatment[/STRIKE], and Clinique all about eyes)
- [STRIKE]2[/STRIKE] 1 hair serums ([STRIKE]ogx coconut milk serum[/STRIKE], and Toni&Guy radiating tropical elixir)
- [STRIKE]2[/STRIKE] 1 cleansers ([STRIKE]Ren gentle cleasing milk 25ml[/STRIKE], and Elemis Omega rich cleansing oil 50ml)
Nails - took off my Ciate polish last night, even though it was still pretty much perfect (I just got bored) and changed to a Nails Inc Gel Effect pink, that is quite chipped already :doh:0 -
Mrs-moneypenny - The perfume doesn't actually smell particularly nice anyway but its the fact that ive still lost a few quids worth. I would have used it for work sleep ins :-/ never mind
note to self dont keep stuff unopened and boxed up... Open it so you can take it back if its faulty! :-/ stupidly assumed that stuff left in packaging would be perfect when i came to use it. Im going to always check stuff now. Cant take it back as i bought it a few months ago :-/
I have a uu anyway to report, only a snall one. But got lots of splutterers at the moment!!
Avon anew reversalist night cream sample sachet- WNBA as full size. Too heavy and greasy for me. Definitely one for dry skin not oily skin like I have. Will use the other samples of these in stash but wouldnt buy it.
I had a load of ins the other night as my lush group orders came in a big box, 5 weeks worth. Couple of items were missing by accident but the lady is going to send them so a couple more to expect soon too. Then im on a group order ban until september as im moving house!
Ins:
Lush mumkin bubble bar
Lush happy blooming melt x 3
Lush tennis ball bomb
Lush bon bomb
Lush supernova bath bomb
Lush turkish delight shower smoothie
Lush party on shower jelly
Lush 93000 miles jelly (small size)
Lush calacas shower gel
Lush sonic death monkey shower gel
Lush bada bing shower jelly
Lush tuca tuca massage bar
Lush comforter body lotion
Lush anerican cream body lotion
Lush skinny dip shower smoothie
Lush lemon melt shower gel
Lush big calm shower jelly
Lush strawberry twin tub shower jelly
Just waiting on a sweetie pie jelly, pot o gold jelly and heavenalli massage bar that were accidentally missed, will account for those when they arrive.
So that is x 20 in
The mothership has said that she is going to help me use lots of my bath bombs and stuff when in new house anyway... She said itll be nice to have a bath that works properly!! I cant wait to run her a lovely bath with some of my lush bits!!No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2015/2016/2017/2018

I've got some more INs for August holiday: mini Garnier Micellar Water, mini Simple Toner, mini Johnson's Baby Oil. I got them all from Poundland and Semi-Chem. I'm still looking for some other cheap minis - a body scrub and some good travel containers for my body lotion and face creams. I don't fancy minis with those as I have far too much in my stash as it is.
Update on stash: I still have lots to use up and I have several products that are close to using up - facial toner, 2 hand creams, foot cream, a couple of body lotions, my current shower gel and shampoo. Hopefully the shower gel will be used up in tomorrow's shower.

Boots Vitamin E Night Cream 50ml - I got this in the Boots Clearance section last year for £1.55. I was very pleasantly surprised as it has been a very good night cream for me. The pot is lightweight but the product lasted a few months for me. It's the perfect size for travel, it's not heavily scented and I definitely noticed a difference to my skin. I think it's been discontinued but this has the same branding. I've used TBS Vitamin E products before and I would argue that the better value Boots version is just as good. I've had the same experience with the Ultimate Blends products tbh. I've only tried one of their conditioners (the colour one) and it was okay but it wasn't as good as my usual bargain staple, Herbal Essences. Have you tried any of their body lotions? No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2019 Total UU since 2016 - 396 | Total February UU - 10 -
I've only just joined MSE and can't believe there is this thread! Will it continue into August as I really want to stop buying toiletries that I don't absolutely need and use up all I have?0

Welcome, Westcliffe. There's a new thread every month:)
I love Nails Inc's colours but it does seem to chip fast and very badly.
Ins - Body Shop Mango scrub, soap, lip balm and Body Sorbet - none of which I need.
Also snagged a couple of skin care samples to add to the storage box of samples.

Sorry but I am not going to the hospital today, it has stopped growing but as in to prevent or deal with it for if and when I get stung again.
when I have got stung in the past (I cant take antihistamines) I have used calendula cream It helps take swelling down and can promote healing.. Also lavender, tea tree and peppermint essential oils can help. Lavender and tea tree can be applied to skin neat but its better to put it into a carrier oil such as coconut or almond oil and then rub it in to the sting especially if you have sensitive skin or a sensitivity to essential oils. chamomile lotion is also good to rub on it to provide relief.£2 savers club 2025 #2= £480
