    2 UUs today:-

VS hair colour in Mid Intense Red. WDBA. Think this is my fave. No more in stash. Don't mind stockpiling these if on a good offer as I need one every 5 weeks.

NYX primer which I can't remember the name of. Threw away tube when I depotted this last week and can't see it on the Boots website either. WDNBA. The texture kept changing! Have new Laura Geller one.

I cut 3 tubes open this morning: Jack Wills Hope Cove body scrub and lotion and John Freda Frizz Ease shampoo.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I want a Z Palette but I think it would just enable me to buy loose Makeup Geek pans rather depot and use things I already have! I'm too clumsy to attempt depotting!

Hopefully it won't encourage me to do anything like that, I really do need to start depotting some though as I'm ingoring some palettes as otherwise I'll end up with a massive pile of half used palettes.

We could do with returns policy bringing in line with the US as it seems that they can return any cosmetics for any reason.
Definitely. At least with foundation because it's the thing that is so hard to test properly in store; no natural light, no time to oxidise if it's going to etc.
I was really lucky with getting an exchange for my no7 ones. I think it was partly because the assistant I dealt with was lovely and partly because I told her I only got that shade because of the Match Made service. If I hadn't done that, I would have gone a shade lighter which has turned out to be as good a match as I've ever had so I should have trusted my gut!
  • Few more UUs.
    12. B. Pure Micellar Cleansing Wipes. WBA, especially when they're on 1/2 price at 49p.
    13. Kerastase Chroma Captive Shine Intensifying Mask mini. WNBA. This was from my advent calendar. It left my hair soft and shiny but it's meant for coloured hair and mine isn't so I wouldn't specifically go for this one over another.
    14. Apple scented Ikea candle. WBA.

Doing well with UUs so far this month and of the birthday presents I've had so far, none have been beauty related, but I'm going out for the day on Monday and my birthday money will probably burn a hole in my purse! Have a lovely weekend everyone! :)

TA) Burt's Bees Almond and Milk Hand Cream. This is going in the bin as I have had a severe reaction to it. I noticed my hands were itchy the first couple of days I was using it, but kept assuming that was caused by something else. Today my hands are covered in red sore areas and eczema patches. I am in so much discomfort. Arg. Thankfully the itching stopped as soon as I stopped using it.

One IN as I needed to cheer myself up) Victoria's Secret Amber Romance Fragrance Mist. It smells gorgeous.

That sounds awful, hope it all heals up soon.

  • Two UUs for me:
Garnier Mystic Olive shampoo - a very ordinary shampoo with an extremely silly name WNBA
L'occitane Delightful Rose hand cream - lovely, WBA if I didn't have 8 handcreams remaining in the stash.

Re Z palettes, I generally use three eyeshadow shades, light, medium and liner, and seem to get through the light fairly quickly; at the moment I'm using three palettes every morning and so I can see the advantage of depotting. Rather annoying but like Deleted_User says I think I would be too tempted to fill a Z palette with other shades!

However, once I've worked through the three palettes I do have, I think I'm going to stick with eyeshadow singles and smaller quads/duos. I have learnt that I'm strictly a gold/brown/bronze eyeshadow girl with the odd smoky eye night - those beautiful pink, purple and green shades never get touched.

Oh god help me! I am drowning in body lotion and bath stuffs.

I keep falling off the wagon and popping back in only to shy away from the challenge again. It's time to DO THIS and get control of my damn bathroom again.

I used to have a spreadsheet with average uses - I know someone once posted the average use of shower gel, body lotion etc per day but I cannot find it anywhere. Does anyone know?

I hope everyone I know here is well, and hi to everyone I haven't met yet :A

Firstly, I am on the fence re palettes. My reason for not buying anymore is the fact that they all get a black shadow thrown in. Of the 5 that I own 4 contain a black pallette. Tge argument for buying them though is that they are cheaper than buying individual pans.

Yes, I saw Exposed on YouTube too. I've been made wary of buying it though because some YouTubers say it is similar to Benefit Dallas which I own. The Fb seller has sent me photos and it does not look like Dallas in the pan. Will let you all know.
went out last night to see Jimmy Carr and used my new primer, foundation and concealer. Love both the primer and foundation but not so sure about the concealer. This is only because I don't think I have the right colour though.
