No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries July 2016

Right I have treated myself to a Z Palette, should hopefully arrive early next week. I have a couple of loose pans to put in it and am going to depot what is left of my Naked 3 palette (in the hope that it will make me use some of those shadows more often). Then as other palettes start having multiple empty pans I will depot them to.


Hopefully they will eventually save me s bit of space on the dressing table (reducing the number of palettes I have) and help me to use those left over shades from other palettes.

Gemzie - We complete on a house later this month. I'm really excited about ripping the 80s bathroom out! I've found Pinterest very helpful to narrow down designs etc ... and it's strangely satisfying making a bathroom board with photos of lovely bathrooms

[STRIKE]Impulse vanilla kisses - This feels very light now so expecting it to be UU this month - More than likely only enough to spray myself all over then this one will be finished. Hoping to UU while getting ready for work in the morning[/STRIKE] - UU. As expected, finished it off this morning while getting ready for work.
Rimmel BB cream - TA. Been open for ages and started smelling funny. I had to start shaking it to mix it up before application.
Avon colourtrend black eyeliner - TA. Only ever used this once and it's been open for around 3 months now. Wouldn't risk it at all with eye makeup.
Avon supershock black mascara - TA. Same as above.
Ciate glitterball mini
Gillette shave foam - This is starting to feel light so hoping to see the back of this soon!

Went to Trafford Centre last night and bought Emma a bottle of L'Occitane Cherry Blossom perfume for her birthday. Got GWP on purchase over £40 : Lavender foam bath, Lavender handcream, Verbena body lotion and perfume. Also bought small bar of milk soap as I have a huge bottle of the Shea body lotion in stash.

For a few months I have been posting on Fb a Wanted ad for Tarte Exposed blush. Was offered one last night at reasonable price so have bought this. V excited.

No more UUs just yet but my Jack Wills Hope Cove body lotion tube will be cut open today. Also will be colouring my hair later too.

I'm finally caught up, had no internet for a week and a half as BT messed up our switchover then were quite frankly appalling at helping us and kept not booking an engineer properly so the appointments didn't go through. had so many phone calls where they basically had a view point of stupid girls not being able to set up a simple router properly then the engineer said it was actually two completely external faults and what we did was perfect so BT are going to be getting a very large complaint coming their way!

my stash is visibly reducing, especially makeup. its now just one (admittedly big) ikea basket in the bathroom for skincare/body and my dressing table and one cupboard for my eyeshadow palettes that are too big to get int he drawer for makeup. my rule is if it can't fit in where it lives then its not bought!

I'm now also targeting the non cruelty free stuff first, at the start of august ill have been cruelty free for a whole year! :j

Mac eyeliner - not cruelty free but the actually did stay put
Origins ginzing moisturiser - WBA if it was cruelty free
Urban Decay lipstick sample - was nice but totally not my colour
Hourglass primer - possible new HG primer, this actually does stop makeup falling off my face by lunchtime!
Oils of heaven oil - WMBA but this is no different to other oils I've tried
Bare minerals flawless definition mascara - HG daytime mascara
Batiste Dry shampoo - another HG
garnier conditioner - this came with a hair dye, repurposed as shaving cream to get rid.
Avenue water spray - been using this as a toner. did a surprisingly good job!
Elemis bubble bath - love this but doesn't bubble as much as the Neom one does.

also got INs of my love lula box but the lip pencil is going straight to my mum as shimmery pink is completely not my colour!

Going away for a few days, but hopeful of a few more UUs while I am on hols, weather forecast just mentioned a heatwave for Tuesday:D, so off to finish packing and make sure that I have some suitable clothing in the caravan, I am a chilly mortal so not really worn anything summery yet this year, treated myself to new sandals and only been able to wear them once so far:eek:

I want a Z Palette but I think it would just enable me to buy loose Makeup Geek pans rather depot and use things I already have! I'm too clumsy to attempt depotting!
