It means I hope that when all this is said and done the people making decisions about how our money is spent, where it goes, how our children are educated, what funds we have to use for the NHS and even how we control our boarders are made by people we elect.

I genuinely hope that this means that we all can become united in that the remain camp and the leave camp can look forward together instead of this massive gaping divide which appears to causing so much trouble.( On both sides ).

Its 2016 and we are one of the wealthiest economies in the world. I pay tax and lots and lots and then some more of it, so as I tax payer I would like some of my very hard earned money to go to help the root cause and not to pay for a Euro MP to claim an additional lunch break!

Your are according to your other posts a remain voter which is fine. That is your right we all had a choice. But please remember that the title of this thread was positive things not another pit the two sides against each other again. Some people are genuinly happy that we voted to leave as is our right.

I don't believe you. I think you just don't like immigrants coming to your country even though they need the jobs and the jobs are here.

We are miles and miles off being united in England and Wales.

There is a stubborn Labour leader for a start who doesn't even recognise there is a problem.

Career politicians may have realised they don't actually represent the masses, but that doesn't mean they know the answers.

P.s My last post was a little rude and disrespectful so sorry but it makes me so sad to see the news this morning see the sacrifice that so many made and are still making today and we in many ways we are squandering the gift they gave us.

I don't think I wish to be united with racists. You may not be one (who knows) but your campaign certainly only won because you "united" with racists.

Just how wrong can you be. My OH is French, My children have joint nationalities and my parents are Irish. I also lived in France for many years. Yes guess you are right I must hate immigrants ???? Really?

I am not perfect far from it. Would not want to be but one thing I know is my strengthens and weakness's. I am a lot of things but afraid of immigrants no way. Without the movement between work forces neither side would do well. Just because i voted out please please do not think that I am xenophobic.

I did say "who knows" though even that was probably a bit strong and you are almost certainly not racist. Just as most people posting here who supported leave are not racists.

My point is still that the leave vote would not have won if the referendum had not united people who just dislike immigrants and people who wanted to "take back control".

I don't want to be united with people who dislike immigrants.
