so when the time comes for a new car what british car are you going to buy?
also when you need a new TV what brand of british tv are you going to buy?0 -
If I was the UK prime minister and looking at the negotiating position I would wait until after the next German general election (2017) to see who is the new Dictator of Europe. Might be someone less keen on uncontrolled migration.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0

If the EU adds tariffs and makes thier exports more expensive, we can buy such things from anywhere else we so choose
People thinking the Germans won't meet us with an acceptable deal are in cloud cuckoo land0 -

The individual EU nations cannot deal with us directly. We need 27 countries to agree the deal."Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance" - Confucius0 -
I wonder how much we are going to charge the EU for access into our market...0

Good grief.....
You really don't have even the foggiest understanding of any of this do you?“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”
-- President John F. Kennedy”0 -
It's a fundamental principle of a failed political union. Its demise was not brought about by Britain but by their expansion to include vastly disparate economies.
They don't have to abandon it for themselves. They just ought to find a mutually beneficial way to trade with their soon-to-be biggest independent trading partner in Europe without attempting to impose such a foolish concept on us.
What the trading arrangement looks like will be up to both sides to negotiate, but I hope free movement is an absolute red line for Britain.
I hope it isn't, free movement is good.
By the way, many of your fellow leave voters and even your campaigners are backtracking on this claiming the referendum wasn't really about immigration. You should probably let them know about the red line.0 -

free movement has been good for
-companies that want masses of cheap labour
-companies that want to hold wage rate rock bottom
-companies that like zero hour contracts
-house price inflation for those who already own
-landlords squeezing in more and more people into smaller spaces
-people who love packed trains and other public transport
-people who love sitting in traffic jams
and indeed there are other people who have marginally gained0 -

Hold on - you've still never answered the question I put to you when you were predicting ~800,000 repossessions and millions of job losses resulting in 12m people unemployed. Many magnitudes higher than the 2008 global financial crash.
You went ominously quiet. That doesn't really demonstrate that you have a handle on all things economic either, pot - kettle - black comes to mind if what you're saying about Conrad is correct.0 -

It still makes my jaw drop when I hear / read Leave voters justifying their decision.
It makes me wonder whether a second referendum would do any good as they all seem to be completely unable to make a decision about this based on facts.0
