    Got my first NSD :T

Managed to eat breakfast before I left despite running late, brought a packed lunch to work and had a yummy homemade chilli for tea with plenty of leftovers for lunches.

Need to a work on being more active, did have a 20 minute walk today instead of using a bus though.

    Good night

Well done on your NSD's & getting your walking in too :)

I lay claim to NSD #3.

The quote we got for a new front door + some new windows came to half our emergency fund. Eek! We can live with a few draughts for a while longer... And we can get another quote.

I have made an effort and had about 10 veg today, which I am pleased with :D.

Well done on NSD 3 Apple.

Catwoman I am so sorry to hear you had a miscarriage. How sad. I am not surprised you have found it hard to get back to life as it was before. I am totally fine talking about anything & everything here as life does not occur in isolation. I dont personally have any experience of miscarriage, but my feeling is a grieving period would be entirely normal. I think you are doing amazingly well all considered.

Catwomen sorry to hear about your miscarriage. You're definitely not alone and I know how hard it is to keep going afterwards. But always know if you want to you can talk here. We're here for all sorts of support not necessarily just financial.

As we had ran out of milk I did my usual Tue shop before work today. Also got cat litter, reduced muesli and wipes. Walked past the YS shelves and found some snack fruit for the kids and 4 packets of asparagus for 50p each (down from 2 quid each).

Healthy lunch of veg salad and gym or run at lunch time today.

I also downloaded headspace last night. I have two books on mindfulness but no time to read them/finish them. This will hopefully get me back into it. I tried the first session last night and it was good. Fell asleep halfway through though :)

    Gooooood morning,

No NSD yesterday as I saw a lovely dress on Groupon that my GF would just love, so I bought that for £10. I'm going to withdraw £20 to use as my gym class funds to stop me from ruining a NSD. Forward thinking!

The family are looking to a caravan park in October for my GF's birthday and a deposit is due to be paid soon. I'll collect the money from everyone and then call to pay. I hate the messiness that brings on my bank statements and thus YNAB.

Catwoman hugs and we are all here for support. Glad you have rejoined shows maybe your in a bit of a brighter place?

Apologies haven't posted last few days just really hectic life at moment.

Been not a brilliant start to the month, took one wrong sized curtain pole back but then had to buy 2. After refund still another 40 pounds. Kept one pole as opened packaging reusing in my hallway for winter months. Also bought a full length mirror for my hall - may stop me eating looking in it. - maybe a worthwhile spend at ten pounds. Managed to get ex to put curtain poles for me last night as well - so nice having curtains again up.

Then whilst I was in spendy mood bought myself a decent pair of trainers, as pads of my feet are hurting with ones I have - can't even remember how long ago bought them but insides wrecked. 44 pounds but hopefully last yrs like the last ones.

Yesterday decided to buy some hair dye and touch up my roots myself was going to try hairdresser but no its the cheaper option.

In a lot of pain still with leg, just seem to be causing it more damage, went to physio yesterday - reckons now twisted my knee again , hamstring is now hurting on the outside of my leg. So extremely grumpy, driving painful, walking caused me so much pain after. I wanted to go a gig next week but standing for any long periods - forget it - so feeling sorry for myself.

My meal planning is really not great this week, haven't really done a proper shop lately.
Last night was mushroom/ tomato omelette

Brekkie always Shredded wheat and homegrown raspberries.

Lunch - Sandwiches yesterday and today cheese with salad and gorgeous chutney I got in Cheddar. May even buy it online so nice.

Tonight have a salad to use up probably with some new potatoes and fish.
Tomorrow will do a chicken dinner and leftover chicken rest of the week, morph into soup/curries.

Today was a spend day, I'm hoping to clock up a few NSD when I return to Wales. This is sort of my holiday, so maybe I am allowed to spend.

£14.05 on a veggie burger (it was lush), chips and two drinks in a lovely Seaside bar with two of my brothers. £2.80 on the train fare there and back. £5.50 posting an ebay item (will update my ebay spreadsheet later) and £4.50 on a 6 pack of pepsi max, and a 4 pack or those fosters lemon low alcohol drinks. I love them!

I looked at HeadSpace last night but didn't do anything. Tried to read my Mindfulness book but bolted when it had a mini exercise to do. I really need to give it a try though as my head is racing with worries and anxiety late at night so i can't sleep and then I end up sleeping in till 11am, which to me is a shocking time to get up.

Me and my brothers had a big discussion about our childhood at lunch. My mother was an alcoholic and one of my brothers works as a support worker for a private drug and alcohol rehab facility. He has been attending Al Anon and Adult Children of Alcoholics meetings and have found they have helped, so I may give that a try.

CatWoman I am sorry for your loss. If you feel like sharing to someone then do so, if you don't then you don't have to.

In light of that my tip for the day is talk to people. Talk to them about your problems, either big or small. Talk to them for advice. Talk to them for guidance. Talk to them for laughter. I feel like I am becoming less anxious the longer I am here, and that is due to talking to my family members.

Sorry for the waffling on, good luck everyone. NST to the rescue! :rotfl:
