Just typical eh.....two job offers! Like you say you need to weigh up each one.

I always do a pro and con list in situations like this. You need to think about long term prospects, holidays, pensions etc

    Good luck

I know! Always the way! Yeah I am going to write a list for both as although very different roles there are pluses to both and of course negatives but I do feel very lucky to be in such a situation!

Hello everyone hope the week has treated you well? I have survived my first week in my job at the factory everyone is lovely and the job is ok but it's definitely not something I could see myself doing long term.

Got all my paperwork to complete for the hospital job yesterday so I will be completing that and getting it sorted.

Asked if I could be paid my first weeks wages as yesterday was pay day and I hadn't been paid and I was in a bit of a mess.. Car was on fumes knowing the 26th of next month is a long way away. So they gave me my first weeks wages so I was able to put fuel in the car and will have enough for all my direct debits this month and a bit for some shopping.

Nothing much happening today have got some washing on need to go to the bank and to town to get some bits and bobs.

Have a good one everyone :)

So it's Sunday 11am and I'm not dressed yet! I had possibly the worst sleep ever last night and I'm exhausted. I think I'm stressing about things, money and my weight.

I've come to a conclusion, for most people it's probably really obvious but for me it's taken a while. I have a real issue with food! I'm an emotional eater and I have some really bad habits I need to break. I'm lazy and use being busy or skint as an excuse to not look after myself.

The thing that's hit me is I don't need to go mad spending money on healthy food or crazy diet plans or personal trainers. I just need to be more aware of what I'm eating, when I'm eating and the triggers that set me off and how to change the situation. So from today I'm consciously tracking calories and will walk at least half an hour every night.

My rubbish diet and fizzy drink causes me anxiety and alot of my negative thought's I'm certain.

Anyway there I go rambling on again.. Have a good day all,

    Hi Welly

My Fitness Pal is a great app to use to when you want to monitor your weight! I've used it loads in the past.

No magic in losing weight- eat less & move more and you'll lose weight. My OH is a personal trainer!

Thanks Louby, I do have it on my phone and seem to go through phases with it but have logged everything today. Well yes that's it... I know that I guess I'm just greedy!

Hope you've all had a nice bank holiday, I have been working..

    Good morning all,

I have just almost passed out!! I have a money manager on my bank, I don't look at it much but I did today and this month I have spent £211.13 just on food and crap... £5 here £2 there... major overhaul happening.. that could be a massive amount off my debt!!

  • Oh god that is horrid!!

I would dread to think what that would look like on mine

Dolly I almost fell over!! Ironically I was reading a post on a group on FB this morning, it was how much people spend on food per week.... People were feeding whole familys on what I ve spend on MYSELF in a month!! So having an unexpected day off the pen and paper is out and the planning is on!!

In other annoying news I got an email saying the hospital need more proof of address for the job so mad dash to the bank to get a stamped statement then a trip to the library to copy my tenancy agreement so I'm off to post it in a moment... I forgot how infuriating and slow the process of NHS recruitment is!

    Have a good day everyone :) x
