Evening all
Went into town with DD at 11.15am....found & bought something for her to wear at 5pm when I text ex and said "we're looking at smart plain tshirt & a leather jacket plus new boots since she doesn't do floral/lace/pleats/frills unless you want her looking like she's 25/going to a funeral". Most annoyingly we bought them from the first clothes shop we'd looked in  I could have saved us 5 hours of wandering around at least 11 different clothes shops and looking at every sales rack as well as the full price stuff. I'm shattered and have clothes blindness.
Came home, and I've done WMx3, tidied up, TDx2, delivered to a customer and watched TV. I'm just too tired to do anything tonight. In fact I'd like to be in bed sleeping already but I put the last wash load on without realising the time.
Oh well, tomorrow is another day and I know I'm going to sleep well tonight. I'll post a list in the morning. :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Hi everyone
Just checking in quickly, should really be in the shower now. Kaz hope the volunteering is going well. CY hope the antibiotics are working.
Exciting that some of our flylady family are off to nursery/school in September for the first time. I cant remember back to when I first became child free during the day - and I would have been working anyway - but it must feel like a real milestone. DS2 starts his last year of secondary school in September so for us it wont be long before that chapter of our lives is over altogether.
Right, shower, paid stuff no. 1, home, paid stuff no. 2, DS2 to collect, everyone to feed them gym class. Must get moving!0 -
Morning all - and welcome back MMM. My lists look positively miniscule against yours!
I managed to complete all my list yesterdayThe induction evening was very interesting, and it was good to meet up again with my fellow students (we are a crazy bunch of seven) but by the end of it my head was reeling with everything they'd told us and I have slept much later than usual this morning! I shall leave reading through all the papers they gave us until next week. I have plenty of time to come to grips with the virtual learning environment. Things have changed a lot since I started my degree course 49 years ago :rotfl:
So, what delights do I have in store today? Only 5 items, Biscuit!
- Pop over to church at 9.15 to see the vicar and fix 3 concert posters to the church railings
- Clean the whole house with DH
- Do a top-up shop
- Make lasagne for tea
- Go to my final weekly course meeting this evening - it's been really good, with another lovely bunch of folk. I shall miss them - but one is joining me on the 2-year college course in September :j
Hope everyone has a good day. (((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round as needed x0 -
Morning all. My you've all been busy.
FBO - good luck with the interview.
So far today I have done the dailies and got one washload on the line. About to tidy and clean in the hobby room and maybe hoover upstairs before the paid stuff.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
