Gilly welcome back and big sticks for the BD.
    CY rest!

One load washing done, hung out and brought in.
Lots of pruning done, with 2 of us here we had a blitz on a couple of front garden shrubs. Plenty more to do, but we took 5 large bags of prunings to the tip. Also cleared out a bit more of garage, so off to the tip went a very old roof rack, windscreen for an even older car, more waste oil (this time with better lid and I carried it very carefully while Mr N drove) and numerous other bits.

Rang Aga man and emergency gas man about lack of gas. The latter came out within 20 mins which was very impressive; sadly we do have gas to the house so it is an aga problem. Rang man again and he is coming on Thursday. He named 2 bits it might need, saying if it was one of them we are in deep s**t. We had the range put in (it isn't really an Aga but no-one has heard of the make so it's easier to say Aga) 26 yrs ago, they don't make those any more. If we're very unlucky it may need a new "engine" which is 2-3k.

Went to Mr A and stocked up on food we can microwave or cook on 2-ring halogen hob.

Catching up on paperwork and computer stuff for the rest of the eve I think.

    Ugh
Full day at the paid stuff today when I needed to be at home to get cleaned up as DD and I had been at my sisters this weekend 9where I flew, of course)

    Anyhoo...

got in from work having pegged out washing and left a load finishing off. I had texted DD to peg out the last load and keep an eye but

    she pegged it out
    she brought it in
she ironed some (backlog since sis been ill and i have been going there)
    and tidied kitcehn
    and mopped the floor
    emptied bins
    took out compost
    vacuumed

    what a star.

So I have done more ironing (pile rapidly diminishing) and washed out the fridge and shelves; tidying and chucking as necessary.

TYVM for the thread. Chances are I will pop in later this week but have two late nights at work (performance; I'm crew *sigh*)

Football is stressing DH out, so I've snuck off to have a read and catch up.

You'll all be delighted to hear that I've not had too bad a day, so shan't be moaning loads :rotfl:

Tiny went to his first ever Monday session at nursery this morning. Without tears or tantrums, which was a big deal. I got back to pick him up slightly early and peeked round the door to watch him play and found him absorbed in a CD book with two other little lads. They were all sat on the carpet listening intently, completely lost in the story. Uber cute.

I [STRIKE]caught up[/STRIKE] made a start on the mountain of washing, drying and ironing that has been accumulating over the past few weeks since the sad demise of my bumble. Only about fifty thousand more loads to get through now...

Piggers - sending evil vibes for CF.
Narco - hope the Aga isn't dead

Lol I was trying to read a book on my kindle last night. In the proces of opeing it I have, apparently, ordered and downloaded a book (it was recommended) so that was £4 spent and, even worse, ordered The Times on a £15 per month subscription  fortunately it was a free trial, which could be cancelled (and has been) within 14 days.

Note to self - when fiddling with kindle WEAR SPECS

A couple of Williams (big bills;)) paid

    Evening all.

Just getting sorted to go to bed. DD is in the bath. I must make the sides of the bath waterproof so she can have a shower. I've not gone mad, our bath is away from the wall slightly due to boxed in pipes then infilled with wood. When we got the new bath fitted last week they snapped some of the plastic trim which was covering wood as it was nailed on. Now the wood is exposed. I think some gaffa & a black bag or two should suffice temporarily.

Updating list and I'm done for the day except for dealing with the wash loads which need going on the maiden.

    Personal:
Laundry - Dark, bedding, dog, cleaning cloths, clean cycle
    Sort shower
    Finances
    Av. book for D
Trip form for DD & Cheque
Book dentists ( for last week of July)
Sort through charity pile (check for size 14 jeans)
Contact charity to collect stuff asap
Sort outfit for DD/gift for her dad - trip to town?

    Work:
    Clear work books
Email about invoice errors - dig through this FY invoices to get all the errors
    mas customer
Start doing invoice detailing on computer accounts record
Tax return / Tax credit renewal
Print calling sheet - Need to write new ones while doing accounts.

    Manic Monday - Kooking Kitchen
    Level One..

    Clean floor
    Level Three...
Clean oven if you didn't do it last week - don't keep putting it off!!! Clean windows
Scrub down the woodwork.. skirtings, door frames etc
Put WM's on a 'clean' cycle.. make sure those doorseals and filters are clear

Twinkling Tuesday~ Luscious Living Room, Happy Hallway and Sunshine Stairs
    Level One..
    Vacuum floors and sofas
    Level Two
    Dusting, even if around everything
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
    Level Three...
Wipe light switches, sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!) and banister
Clean any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc
    Clean a window or two.
    Groom the hairy pet

Time to go sort out this washing so I can get to bed before 11pm in theory. See you in the morning.
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Glad Tiny enjoyed nursery, Dizzy :j
Well done for avoiding hospital admission, CY. Hope you're feeling better now.
I hope CF has disappeared back to his own area, Pigpen. Did you get through to your solicitor?
    Recovery vibes for Narc0's Aga.

    I have achieved a lot today :)
    - tax return submitted, but I now owe HMRC nearly £400  - it's a good thing I started at the "big end" of 1p a day savings in January, as this will cover it :money:
    - charity Gift Aid claim submitted
    - charity accounts updated
    - DBS form posted
    - names written on church envelopes
    - lunch and afternoon out with DH was very nice
    - mended fence with DH's help :A
    - fixed leaning bird feeder "tree" with wire round concrete fence posts
    - cleared forget-me-not plants and deadheaded everything else in back garden
    - edged the lawn
    - watered the plants in pots with feed
    - planted out the one plant I bought today ;)
    - and a few other bits and pieces.

    Tomorrow I must:
    - prepare for the final session of my course on Wednesday
    - mend my blouse - the one I've just sewn new buttons onto, which I now see has a split seam
    - deadhead roses and do a general tidy-up in the front garden
    - plant tomatoes in big pots
    - banking
    - print concert flyers and posters
    - SW weigh in
    - return unused fence post holder to GC
    - hair appointment at 14:00
    - read the satnav instructions
    - 16:00 out to induction evening at college :D

Looks like I shall have to start early to fit everything in!

Piggers drop dead vibes for CF. Narc0, ouch. Hope it's not as bad as you fear.

Spent the weekend polishing my CV, and sent it off. Interview on Wednesay. I swore I wasn't going 'big business' again, but this actually looks quite promising. Either way it will be good experience. I'd better look out a power suit - haven't worn one in about 5yrs. The heels are going to kill me.

Off to walk Furry. Then the gym. I went twice yesterday - classes it never been able to make before. And I just happened to land in MrT at YS time. Sea Bream on the menu tonight.

    Have a great day everyone.
