Quick update while I have a coffee. Dailies are done, first wash load is back on after letting it sit and soak in the solution, veg/lentil mix is done and brewing/cooling on the hob before I puree it. There's more than double what I need so I think I might freeze some of it for the next time I make bolognese. Food inventory has been updated, and I'm trying to write a meal plan where I don't double up on anything in a week. Throwing in soup for Friday (DD has fish & chips in school) and a "get your own" (which means salad, sandwiches, leftovers or whatever) for Saturday since what DD has for lunch with ex varies week to week (and she'll be treating him to a birthday lunch since she won't see him Monday for his actual birthday) and leaving Sunday as an unknown I think I've managed it. I've even got a recipe saved ready for Wednesday nights tea which will start clearing the rice mountain we've acquired
Looking at the current weather forecast I won't be taking DD to town until Friday. She's not feeling great due to a cold, Tue & Wed we're forecast heavy rain, Thur I'm working and she's at philosophy. Friday I was planning on going to the bank for work anyway, so it won't be so bad. All my bills go out on Friday as well so at least I'll have some idea of how much money I have left to pay for this stuff. If it comes to the crunch we can bring stuff home, she can try stuff on here and then I'll nab a lift into town from ex on Saturday when he takes DD out to return stuff;)
I'm going to get stuck into the pile of none work papers I need to clear first. I swear I put one sheet down and another 10 magically appear. But that should also clear some of my lists.

Hi All
I have been away for so long, but have been checking in and catching up at odd times.
The dreaded BD has struck again and I am trying to find my motivation to get stuff done. You guys were brilliant at getting me through last time so I hope you won't find it cheeky of me to come back again.
CY, Dizzy, Piggers, Bossy, Iona, you have all been through so much and I wish you all a much better second half of 2016.
CY relax on the virtual OS sofa and let us bring you a cuppa
Dizzy, I have had enough of the rain so can only imagine how you are feeling. I hope you are soon in your proper home
Piggers congrats on your new little one. CF

Gilly hi, and have a stick x
Piggers, also have a stick to beat CF with.
Half of the dailies done this morning before work, other half will be done when I get home, and that will be it for the day really, unless I suddenly find some energy from somewhere. If I do I will sort out the family's passports, just in case we have enough money for a holiday abroad this year.

Getting there slowly. My paper piles seem to be reducing and I did nearly an hours worth of work papers as well. Just done the Mr A price check and realised I have 2 vouchers which expire today and also got a £2 one for my last online shop which will cover the delivery cost of my next one as I always choose a £1 slot
I'll take a wander down later and pick up a couple of bits with the vouchers I have and see if I can find any deep pocket jeans for me. I may just have to resort to buying mens ones at this rate

What happens at a nursery induction, a show round and playing with toys? sounds like fun.
Patio is now power washed, my hands are still vibrating!
As a result of power washing, I have had to clean the outside of all the downstairs windows on that side of the house
Car is hoovered out
Weedkiller is put over front drive and 2 paths in back garden, (cat friendly according to the packet
Having a rest for a bit
Then I am off out to my volunteering job, that I have been trained for over the last few months, didn't say anything as I wanted to make sure it was right for me and that I passed the course etc!any how all is good, and I need to 'give up' approx 2 - 3 hours per week, so I should be able to do that.
Must get washing in, it has had a good blow all day, it is quite sunny out there.

Hi All
My day is done and I cleared a frog.
All levels done, apart from cleaning the oven. I don't do cleaning the oven. I pay someone to do it.
The hinges on 2 windows have been "iffy" for over a year. They have now been replaced as earlier I thought one of the windows was going to fall out and as at front of the house it was not secure. £110 spent, but better than a burglary.
I have made a chilli for tonight's dinner.
How is everyone else's day?
Gilly x0
