Spent the weekend polishing my CV, and sent it off. Interview on Wednesay. I swore I wasn't going 'big business' again, but this actually looks quite promising. Either way it will be good experience. I'd better look out a power suit - haven't worn one in about 5yrs. The heels are going to kill me.
Off to walk Furry. Then the gym. I went twice yesterday - classes it never been able to make before. And I just happened to land in MrT at YS time. Sea Bream on the menu tonight.
Have a great day everyone.
You sound as if you are really making the most of your new car and mobility. Good luck for the interview.
I have got off to a very slow start; a combination of a late night catching up on surfing the net/downloading photos from camera and phone from the weekend, hay fever (I hate taking a tablet every day so missed yesterday despite spending much of the day in the garden) and general slothfulness. Spent ages over breakfast reading yesterday's paper which I hadn't got round to looking at - having watched the news last night there was little point in reading it! Tidied a few things half heartedly.
Now I've written a list of indoor stuff as the forecast is for the weather to deteriorate - so why am I not outside in the garden? Good question. Few aches from yesterday. Ok I'm going outside but I will need to take a coffee with me.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Quick update - if it's gone, it's done:
[STRIKE]- mend my blouse - the one I've just sewn new buttons onto, which I now see has a split seam[/STRIKE] - done
[STRIKE]- hair appointment at 14:00[/STRIKE] - done
- read the satnav instructions
- 15:15 out to induction evening at college
Also did a bit more paperwork.
1 lb decluttered at SW - not really enough to make me happy, but it will do.
[STRIKE]Might or might not get the blouse done today - it's navy blue and fiddly and I need to do it in bright daylight.[/STRIKE]
Garden is looking nice, having bought a few extra plants when i went to return the fence post. Everything is planted out and the tomatoes are enjoying their bigger pots. It's just begun to rain again
DH appears to be in a bit of a strop, presumably because I asked him to tidy up his things which are lying all over the place
Forgot to say earlier (because sidetracked by sea bream) Good luck with the interview tomorrow, FBO!0 -

Evening all,
Dd2 a little better, but a day with a clingy feverish six year old is never going to be flytastic. Wm and a bit of ironing done, other bits of daily stuff, Internet shop, caught up on emails, made a nice tea.
OH has had a mini digger for the day to level out an area for a patio and also dig some drainage for our flood prone garden. Cue frantically moving plants around. Our garden is mainly, ahem, wild, but the one bit I have some nice plants in was the bit he was digging up. Grrrrrrr.0 -
Good evening everyone, Sorry I have been missing for several weeks things have just got a bit on top of me. I really need to get into this cleaning and working routine as the house looks a bit like a tip and work is just ticking over in areas and building up in other areas.
