FTSE and pound are up and down constantly , they are meant to be. How exactly ftse down affect you and society ? $and £ have had different rates in the past, with extremes far wilder then now - how exactly did they affect you and society and why do you think present rate is bad?
What exact information you have re jobs moving out ? Hearsay by media? Why not to mention positives - for example for every job lost there may be job gained ( as immigrants go back or exports pick up due to cheaper pound)?
Fractured country - really it would be helpful to keep things in the perspective , unless you are 20 you should have known more turbulent times. Me and my boyfriend voted opposite ways , nothing fractured between us. But of course if one uses as inflammatory and derogatory language as you and others do then no wonder it does not feel nice.
Why do you try to respond not to what I said ? I had an issue with media's negative hysteria instead of celebrating or just discussing further steps. I did not have an issue with media discussing the topic per se.
The word "dilemma" comes from Greek where "di" means two and "lemma" means premise. Refers usually to difficult choice between two undesirable options.
Often people seem to use this word mistakenly where "quandary" would fit better.

My bet is that in 6 months time many of those who "won" will not feel like winners.

Equally, we may feel even more euphoric and those who doubt UK PLc feeling a bit silly about their chicken licken approach to change.... that's the point, nobody, absolutely nobody knows as this is all new....... this will be a very interesting time to witness...

And things are a bit nice than they were during The Great Plague as well. Pointless argument. Unless the UK makes some positive moods forward, the markets are likely to continue to react badly. Friday wasn't an end-point. We've created quite a bit of uncertainty in what are already difficult times.

Why would not UK make positive move forwards ? May be because toys been thrown out of the pram? But then who's fault is it ? The person's who upset the baby ?
You think that posters argument is pointless , I think yours about trying not to do anything that could upset the apple cart is narrow minded and short sighted. How does it feel to have derogatory language used about your argument?

Rather pathetic seeing supposedly intelligent people resorting to playground insults. You would rather see a disaster that would affect you as well just so you could say "I told you so". It really is toys out of pram on all levels.

Actually Generali is indeed intelligent poster in my opinion and he has emigrated methinks so it may explain why he does not seem to care, could not explain his language - may be he honestly believes it would be a big disaster for Britain or may be some of his career chances were based on Britain being part of EU so it affected him personally.

Makes him even more pathetic then. "I'm alright but f*** you lot, you deserve to suffer because you had a different opinion to me!!".

Personally I think Brexit was a huge error, but hey ho, we are in it now, so what's the point in being negative, life has to go on. I can also understand that some people with nothing and little perceived prospects, thought that they had nothing to lose, and consequently were happy with taking a chance on the unknown, that's a failing of the Remain camp to get their message across and address that issue. I suspect it will (sort of) hurt me financially, but I further suspect that I am going to fail badly at spending it all anyway, so at the end of the day, it probably isn't going to change my life at all. There are more important things in life to focus on.

We could look at other eu countries to see how it would been if we stayed in.
Mind, as there seem to be vacuum in power, nobody rolling their sleeves up unless I missed it and total scaremongering they may well replay it or ignore it, in that case we may stay in and never know how would it been out..
Do you know of any politicians that came out with coherent and positive speeches since referendum?

I didn't say anything about not upsetting the apple cart. You're planting words in my mouth. Someone just pointed out the reality that the world of commerce reacted negatively the Brexit. I'd like the country to focus on the future.

Pointing out things are slightly better than at some other point in history doesn't change the fact the market thinks Brexit has created uncertainties. Stock markets fell globally, so this isn't just about some comments made by the in campaign.

There is a big difference between pointing out markets reacted negatively to brexit and stating that brexit was wrong decision because markets reacted negatively to it as the poster who first mentioned markets said.
Markets reacted negatively, they do even to events of a smaller magnitud. Besides our government comes across so clueless it is scary , no wonder markets are nervous.
