On another thread here, we are arguing as to whether the EIB raises funds from member states (not just from the markets). Do you know the answer - the EIB are very opaque on this.0 -

I seem to recall reading about the EIB, I think member states act as the backstop for it so the UK is liable for funds the EIB requires for whatever reason, I think it was to do with bailouts. Not sure about where it raises funds from though.0 -
