    Wasn't me, but must have been a good looking chap :):)

    Interesting the the ECB has admitted that they can't stop expanding the currency supply.
    Nothing has been fixed since 2008, it was just pushed into the future

    On another thread here, we are arguing as to whether the EIB raises funds from member states (not just from the markets). Do you know the answer - the EIB are very opaque on this.

    I seem to recall reading about the EIB, I think member states act as the backstop for it so the UK is liable for funds the EIB requires for whatever reason, I think it was to do with bailouts. Not sure about where it raises funds from though.

    I just watched the film The big short, they mention DB a lot.
    Nothing has been fixed since 2008, it was just pushed into the future

    The trader concerned was infamous.

    The book is far better. The few guys shorting the position were under huge pressure from their own investors.

    I just noticed how DBank were obviously made to stand out as prime suspects in the film. Was this made before the truth came out about the toxic derivative losses in the trillions?
