CEO complaints Tesco Motor

Really not happy with Tesco at the moment after they left me stranded with no insurance a second time following a botched change of vehicle and then a botched total loss.

Does anyone know the email address of the current CEO as I am sick of being fobbed off and given attempted platitudes by the regular complaint team. I thought I would fire a good old letter at the CEO team to see if it gets a better response. My research suggests the CEO is Steve Kingshott but I have been unable to locate an email address or physical address for him or his team to send my complaint to.

Thanks in advance for any assistance that can be offered.

    Dave Lewis is Tesco CEO.

Benny Higgins is the head of Tesco Bank which covers the insurance arm.

Ceo does not deal with it directly but it does get the complaint taken more seriously than a fob off £30 voucher and nothing learned. Rather than compensation I would prefer to know they dedicated time to extra training to avoid the issues happening again.

Where do you think I got the info that Steve Kingshott took over in November 2015. It is actually common policy in the insurance industry to send complaints via ceo office if the normal complaints office fail to deliver the a suitable response. Its adds an addition option prior to the ombudsman service.

Putting a customer in the position of driving uninsured due to an admin error is not a minor matter to be fobbed of.

That's most likely all I will use them for in the future.

All complaints go to the same place. It's why they have a team specifically to deal with them. If you want to contact the CEO, I'd try "Private and Confidential" on the outside of the envelope. My guess is, though, that it will hit his PA's desk, who will open and see that its a complaint and just send it to the complaints team.

Good luck though OP, let us know how you get on.

As the man who is ultimately responsible from a compliance viewpoint, he better have the time.

Really? When was the last time you saw a CEO held responsible for the failings of their underlings?

More likely, they will claim no knowledge of what went on, and any case against them will be dropped.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.
