PMs are not elected, but I get the feeling. Quite ironic when you think about the rhetoric on unelected EU officials...

Indeed - yes, I just meant that normally in a GE, you know who is going to be PM. For example, Ed Miliband probably had a large effect on Labour's chances in the last GE. Anyway - I am genuinely scared of who is going to take the reigns...

The reins of the Conservative party need to be kept tight.

The reign is a separate issue, best not thought about right now!

With the Tory party, it's the whips you need to watch out for...

So, Gove or Boris for PM? Lovely choice.... Unless we revert back to the Quiet Man....

    You've forgotten Theresa May...

...but there again, that's only a rumour. ;)

Me, I began preparing Plan B months ago, but I really didn't expect to be implementing it so soon.

Basically - I would have been very surprised if I'd seen any of the West Country counties being anything other than Brexit - well I've checked Cornwall, Devon and Dorset first thing and must check the others - but am expecting the same.

The Welsh counties voted as I expected them to as well.

I have a theory FWIW that people vote in accordance with what they see their "nationality" as being - be it English/Welsh/Scottish OR British OR European. On from which - I tend to think us yur West Country people are most likely to see ourselves as "British" (or as I would call it - "Yes ....British.....I really am (ie by birth/parents birth/grandparents birth etc etc etc back quite a few centuries) ).

Hmmm....are we allowed to know what Plan B is?:)

Just goes to show, how isolated London is from the rest of the country. That map they show on TV of who voted in and out and you could see London being just about the only in area in the country was perfect example of things are viewed by the population.

London is an anomaly. Turkeys don't vote for christmas....

I'm a Scots x Welsh Cockney, which must be quite rare and accounts for a lot of things, but sharing plans ahead of implementing them isn't a Scotaffney trait.

As I see it, now is a good time to invest. I've much to be grateful to Cameron and his lot for. Just for once, a law they altered has given me the chance to do it on home turf.

That's all the clues you're getting, but you can take it from me, you'd not approve!

Ah yes, the curse of predictive text - or more the fact that I have 2 phones which make completely different suggestions. Of course, I could actually read what I type before submitting...

First guess being something to do with growing food in a non-organic manner then...or some building work - or both in alliance.

Building work as most likely then......

the map of votes by area puts paid to that idea. Very few people are egalitarian, they vote for what suits themselves not others. The divide in the UK (in so far as it is still a UK) shows that further "trouble" is inevitable as the schism is now plain for all to see, intelligent, forward looking city dwellers v country bumpkins.

Amusing that how to qualify for an Irish passport is trending on google searches :rotfl:.

    Scottish one next perchance?
