William Hill paid out £45, for REMAIN getting 45.01% to 50.00%.

I had that as well as Remain on 50-55% and Leave to win.I have £10 on Remain getting 45.01% - 50.00% , pays 7:2.
Pay out is £45.
Not too sure what happens if it's 50%:50%.
Nice tidy profit today. Except on my share portfolio of course

That's a straddle, well played.
Normally, if I bet on something. I lose.
If I light a cigarette, the bus would come.
There's a gremlin keeping an eye on me, to make sure I don't gamble.
The losses are OK, cashed in some in the bounce this week. Just a shame couldn't get into the website to pick up some bargains this morning.0 -

I haven't dared look at my portfolio all day but I've just logged in and was pleasantly surprised that I'm only down 0.75% on the day. I got hammered on my FTSE250 tracker which is my core holding as well as some share in banks but this was balanced by good performance in other funds, especially gold and biotech/pharma.0 -

I'm actually up by 2%
UP: global tracker, commodity ETFs, miners, oil producers
DOWN: Euro shares, UK shares other than miners and oil.
Although I guess this is only "up" in GBP terms, if you valued the portfolio in USD it would be down 8%
strange business this0 -
