My tv went off 2 days ago, had the 60% offer but left it until it went off, just got off live chat and they first offered 50% then 60%, turned them down and there was no further offers.

Look on My Sky and its left in the last 12 months link, but my offer took a couple of weeks and not days.
  • Hi everyone,
I gave my 30 days notice on a web chat after a selection of offers, the best being 40%. Moments later, the 60% offer appeared on my interactive services section of the box.
I held out for an offer on SkyQ and requested this a number of times without any success, the best offer they gave me for that was 25%. I accepted the 60% off offer, when the lady on the web chat offered this without any extension to my contract.
I've got 60% off for 12 months with no contract :T
    Debt at Highest, £18,000.00

As of October 2010, Debt Free!!! :j:T
  • Hi All,

If it helps anyone for reference I simply went on live chat and mentioned I would like to speak to someone about the recent price increases. They were quick to offer me free Unlimited BB, 50% off line rental, 50% off Original TV bundle and free sky hub 2 router and free delivery.

As price is one of my major considerations £19.49 all in for 12 months seems fairly reasonable.

Cancelled via online chat - offered 50% for 10mths wouldn't budge on that so cancelled, of course 50% it isn't anyway as certain things don't get the discount. Will leave it a week or so and see what comes along if anything.

Don't accept a 10 month deal (unless it's on a rolling monthly contract), hold out for 12 months.
